Theofratus 1 Share Posted September 22, 2011 I commander Theofratus of the Imperial coalition we have declared war apon the town of Crimson vale against atrocities commited by the Lord juvens which include torture,murder, and robbery. We also have proof that the lord Juvens harbers undead within the walls which he has openly admitted. The coalilition wants to bring them down and form the Imperial fortress to stand against all who commit these crimes and to show the true power of our coalilition! Juvens 199 Share Posted September 22, 2011 Sadly I can't support this war. Undeads are welcomned just as Ascended, which points us as neutral. Balin became a dwarf, so we got none of both. You guys aren't villains, and the point with torturing is made by the town law, so it's legit. And all people who got executed can't remember. So basically your war reason is a ) based on metagaming or B ) you'd have to declare war on oren aswell, since they execute people too. And just as add: We are building the town, got to handle a bug with our moat and also got an GM who steals my stuff...so overall, this attack isn't legit, while you guys aren't villains. I don't know, but I even safed Gaius life infront of my gate, when they wanted to kill him...so there is barely a reason to attack. TeaLulu 1783 Share Posted September 22, 2011 I believe you have some misconceptions of being "neutral". That does not mean supporting a force which wants to completely destroy all of Aegis. The more neutral thing to do would be to disallow -both- undead and ascended from your town. Undead for their Iblees-tainted ways and also for wishing the destruction of literally all of Aegis, and Ascended for being a good-aligned force which wishes the death of all evil. (Being that both good and evil are necessary parts of life, it is important to realize that you should not support or condone any faction which wants to destroy either of those two sides completely, if you wish to be neutral. And make no mistake, allowing undead to live in your town and use it as a military rendezvous point is condoning their actions. In-character, I know you allowed undead to live in your town and I know it has been used as a rendezvous point for Undead before the war at Sanjezal.(Seeing as I saw and/or heard both these things.) So any of that information is in fact not metagamed. I also know you have sent your goons to murder people before because they argued with you/disagreed with you. I cannot vouch for the validity of accusations of you robbing people but I can vouch for those things. I saw this group with at least one person I have told about these things in their company. OOC I am aware that Balin had a character reset and you have no villain app anymore, IC I still believe you to be working with the undead though things have been much quieter lately. If I attempt to stop them from waging this war, then that is metagaming. Therefore I can do nothing about it. If you are an official town of Oren then that just raises even more questions. Garn 14 Share Posted September 22, 2011 This is what the server needs some guild vs guild conflict. A war without the ascended or undead. The ascended do know you are a criminal so we would not come to your defense. The undead would not care even a little if you are destroyed because you are nothing to them. A pawn. It is not like he is bringing 40 soldiers to the battle. And if it is a guild vs guild it should stay that way. Anyone not in the guilds or allies should be removed from the battlefield or banned.
