Actually guilds need lore otherwise so they fit with the story it is required to be an official guild if I am not mistaken.

Of course its a good thing that you have history behind you but its not a must.

The Imperial Coalition do not know the undead are gone in game, and using information in this thread as knowledge to stop their own attacks would be Metagaming. Also, if you attempted to post signs up or some other thing that tells people the undead are gone it could be argued as metagaming. You could actually meet up in game and try a parley in character before the battle to discuss terms of surrender and such, then maybe "surrender" to having your town searched for evil by The Imperials, and if they find nothing, they leave.

I don't know if guilds need official lore, but I assume they must all have some sort of background story they make up, for the guild to be a properly RP'd group they had to meet up somehow.

So what you're saying is because you heard something about undead, you're all for attack, but if he comes to you metaly, you will be diplomatic. No. If you want to be a good heroic person, you would come to us asking about it first. You would ask if you may search around. We would let you. You want to be diplomatic about it, then do it, you make the first move, seriously. You hear a rumor, you investigate. Come on by Crimson Vale when someone is around(We have fairly conflicting timezones) and I'm sure it would be fine.

Death is right, if they attack and they are there to see it they are allowed to defend as longas they do not metagame finding out about it.
