3andD 1722 Share Posted November 23, 2018 THE AURELIAN PARTY “An Empire for the people, by the People.” “United as one, under a common cause and goal we shall elevate the power of the Emperor and his authority. Light the flame that shall be cast across the Empire, guard it fervently until it illuminates the Empire and lights again the Paths of Mankind..” - Edvard von Drache TABLE OF CONTENTS SECTION I: ABOUT US SECTION II: MISSION STATEMENT SECTION III: PLATFORM Chairmain: Ostrobor Carrion Vice-Chairman: Edvard von Drache SECTION I: ABOUT US The AURELIAN PARTY is a political organization devoted to reinstalling the nationalism of old so that our great Empire can stand together against any who oppose. Branching from the tree of Priorist thought and the triad principles of One People, One Nation and One Faith, The AURELIAN PARTY believes that, although Our Holy and Mother Church is the only true faith; that it is strongly preventing the advancement of our Most Imperial Empire. However, in recent years, the Priorist party seems to have diverged from the original idea. After the blackshirt riots and the persecution and murder of Lord Bracchus upon debatable evidence many members of the party began to question the leadership following the resignation of the former Chairman Hans; it was clear that the party was staying in the wrong direction. The AURELIAN PARTY values nationalism and promoting the will of the Emperor, The AURELIAN PARTY believes that the one nation should be united together under a strong imperial image, and seeks to encourage national pride. As such, members of the Aurelian Party tend to be strongly loyal to our Empire. Ultimately, the AURELIAN PARTY is for the Empire. SECTION II: MISSION STATEMENT The Aurelian Party seeks to increase the patriotism and loyalty within the Imperium. It is believed that Knights should no longer hold a position of authority within the Army and should become purely titular. Such as those who earn the title of Knight should be a member of an already established noble house. Therefore, people who show prowess and skill in the military should be rewarded and those who seek a land grant should serve as loyal members of the army. It is also believed that a citizen of the Empire should be granted an opportunity to rise to certain power without a drop of noble blood. As such, we seek to increase the relevance of minor military titles below the Marshals and promoting a form of loosely united military similar to the Canonist-League of the past (Though without such strong religious ties, see below) It is believed that non-Canonist citizens should enjoy some sort of rights within the Empire. While they will not gain entrance to the Seven Skies, our Great and Most Imperial Empire would benefit from the tax and military support from non-Canonist citizens. As such, we will seek to end prosecution against those who follow heretical faiths so long as they pay tax and fight for our Emperor. Ultimately, the Empire is for the People. Imperial citizens and supporters of alternative cultures should not be prosecuted if they serve our Imperial and Most Prestigious Emperor. Imperials should not be subject to raving politicians who seek to further their own gains with no regard for the common individual of the Empire. Imperials should feel a sense of pride when they see their banner. The Empire should be for the majority, not the minority. SECTION III: PLATFORM 1. The Aurelian Party seeks to ensure a stronger and united Empire. 2. The Aurelian Party seeks to increase the authority of military offices (officers, commanders, generals, marshal, and grand marshal) 3. The Aurelian Party seeks to ensure that non-Canonists enjoy the rights of a pureblood canonist human so long as they pay tax or serve our emperor in the army. 4. The Aurelian Party seeks to ensure that only citizens of the Empire may vote on matters of a Parliamentary capacity, legislative changes or govermentorial enactments. 5. The Aurelian Party seeks to establish further minor reforms within knighthood of the Empire, as to reduce the oversaturation of minor nobility.
