Rin’su stared at her reflection. Her soft emerald eyes full of tears. Her thoughts racing over the past few elven days. She trembled as a sob threatened to overtake her. What was she doing? She gripped the dirt next to her, feeling the rocks clunk together under her palms as she shook her head.

“Suika, what is the matter?”

Rin’su looked at Nivndil as she gripped her notepad. The elder druidess moved closer. Reluctantly, Rin expressed her loneliness, yet she couldn’t bring herself to express more to her adopted mother.

"You're not invisible to me.. I see you.. and hear you. Kae nae mayilere, larii."

Rin’su sighed as the memory surfaced. She tried to focus on that. Focus on her father’s return. Focus on Hare and Dwyn. But she couldn’t bring herself to feel joy. She still felt, invisible. Replaced.

They have their own little ones, why would they want you anymore?

Ugly little half-breed. Your the child of a ***** and an embarrassment.

Who wouldn’t replace you with their own flesh and blood?

Rin buried her head in her hands as she choked back a sob. The voices only louder in her silence. She struggled to name those that she knew loved her.

Hareven

He has a new family, Dwyn and Isilia.

Elenora

Please, she replaced you with Prim and Liri years ago.

Maln

He has so many children, how could he care about the child of a *****?

Quillian

She left. She only pretends to love you.

Nivndil

You had to ask her to be your mother, pathetic.

Rosa

She is only with you out of pity. No one could love you.

Rin looked away from her reflection and covered her face, smearing mud over her features. Sobs broke through her silence as the tears fell. Her doubt crippling her, breaking the tranquility she once carried.

You're not invisible to me

She struggled to cling to the words. Cling to the little bit that had comforted her injured heart.

I see you.. and hear you.

She stood and slowly made her way towards the back of the grove. Her clothes a mess, mud dripping from her chin.

Kae nae mayilere, larii

She slowly climbed into the branches of a nearby tree before curling up. Her small form hidden by the thick leaves.

Only one truly loved you, and you killed her.

OOC:

This is just the mindset of my character over the past few days of RP. It has been a tough week and roleplay has mirrored a lot of my feelings.

The back of the Mother Grove was rather quiet during this time with the chill of the south lingering upon the wind that gently blew across the canopy of the tree where young Druidess was. Yet even while she wept silently in despair and sorrow, she would come to find that eventually she wasn’t alone. The branch that held her quite easily creaked only just, most likely drawing her attention towards the large feline now staring at her with its golden gaze. Two elongated ears perked up towards her direction and alert while its soft, grey fur holding what appears to be an emerald shimmer across its surface every now and then. Yet it wasn’t clear given the light of the sun reflecting on it. The lynx was silent even if she tried communing with it. Silence...quiet....something both her and the animal seem to relate and understand. It was with this realization most likely that the animal would then lower down to rest on the branch next to Druidess. It adjusted rather casually with one back leg a little stretched off edge while its eyes seemed to peer out towards the view that was laid before them. If she attempted to touch the lynx’s head or fur in a manner to stroke it, the feline would allow her to do so and very faintly emit a purr in a rather content way. The lynx of course would remain until she found the need to eventually get down. Though upon her landing on the soft grass below and looking up to see where the lynx was, the feline would have vanished from sight.....

Rin looked over at the lynx. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she sat up and moved closer. She was used to silence as she cautiously reached out and touched the creature. Slowly as she felt more sure it would not run away, she wrapped her arms around it and hugged it gently, trembling as she held it close. She found solice in the silent feline, comfort in an animal just as silent as her.

The company was well received as she held the animal. Her tiny voice breaking the silence as she whispered into the fur. "Thank...you...haelun... " her embrace warm in the fur as she just held it. After some time had passed, she let it go, offering a silent smile to it.
