Thesis on Charity

Acolyte Timothy Griffith

My words are reflection from the Canticle of Charity of the Holy Canon Scroll of Virtue.

Lo and attend, for I am the Lord God, and I am in the foremost part of heaven. Though the spring flower withereth and the fruit of the tree falleth to the ground, My Word lasts into the eve of the world, and the fruit of virtue cannot rot.

I am the Lord God without peer, and I created the metals of the earth, and the onyx and alabaster, and placed within thy groves the trees of incense and resin, and gave unto the beasts of the earth their fine coats. And so I have placed into thy hearts the blessing of abundance, and the virtuous wealth of the spirit. And as I have given unto thee, my child, the blessing of spiritual abundance, so shalt thou give unto thy fellows the blessing of My Word and My Love.

Our God has gifted us with his many fruits of sustenance for our health and faith. His fruits do not wither nor rot, and we are forever reminded of his greatness with every bite of food, and every prayer in his name, for now and always. With every stone we use to craft our halls, or every blessing and virtue we are granted, we must remember all come from Him, to us, with his love.

For I placed into thy heart a wealth of virtue, and I have created for thee a garden of abundance. And thou shalt give unto the world the physical abundance of fullness and warmth, and the virtuous wealth of the spirit. For the wealth of the spirit is never divided, but multiplied.

So I am the Most High, and in pursuit of My Virtue, I bid thee, My faithful, this: Thou shalt not covet the wealth of this world, nor the wealth of others, but the wealth of the spirit.

.

We, as God’s children, must not covet what has been gifted to us by His love, but recognize and spread his abundance and love. Let us not succumb to the sin of greed, but repent and share what we are given to those not as fortunate, to show our God loves all his children equally. Let us not hold ourselves higher than other by the value or our material possession, or how we believe to be a better believe of his love, while others are forced lower and lower. Instead, we must open our arms to those sick, hungry, or cold. Open our doors to those in need, and spread the love of our God.

And I am the Lord God without peer, and My abundance is the true abundance, and My wealth is the pure wealth, and all the blessings of abundance shall fall before the righteous who share it.

Always remember those who keep greed in their hearts will only lower themselves, but those who love and help others, will rise to the Seven Skies to our God. Our God loves us all, and give in abundance that love to spread to our peers. Show chaity but not pity, only equality to everyone around you, be it begger or monarch. Love thy neighbor, as God love you. Share your bread and wine, and always have a plate ready for those in need. This can be done even by donating time to the clinics and taverns to help those in need, and to keep the church’s doors always open for such a reason.

May God be with you all, forever and always, Amen.
