A cloaked individual, weary and worn from travel, would reach the gates of the Golden City of Ves with a certain thankfulness that their journey had finally come to an end. The figure, a young woman, would make her way to the tavern that rested just beyond their sturdy gates, making herself comfortable at a table and ordering a tankard of cheap ale.

Evie sits in her home, deep in thought as news reaches her "another good man falls, each side keeps losing men. Brother, fathers, sons and cousins, this needs to end" Slowly rising from her desk glancing out the window over Ves, before tossing the note down.

Hans Bell sits, near a crossroad smoking his usual cigarette "war is war, I need to find more work" he grumbles scratching beard "I wonder who pays the most"

”I failed you, Fred... I’ll avenge you..”
