JokerLow 1317 Share Posted January 30, 2020 [!] A missive would be found to the noticeboard of each major nation in Arcas, one sent to Kazrin Starbreaker, the holder of the Book of Grudges himself The Golden Grudge Spoiler Spoiler By faith and honor, each dwarf is bonded to bow to no mortal king, but the one of the Obsidian Throne. Such an easy task for the majority of dwarves, but an impossible one for the stubborn evil lurkers of Mynebor. It was for today, 12th of The First Seed 1753, that the undying dwarf Balrog II Ironkiln would be captured by dwarven troops. Found in the ruins of Mynebor, he was shackled and bought to the stone halls of Urguan by Thumril Metalfist and Dain Metalfist, to face the justice of his kin. Once bought, the word was let through the streets of Urguan and the Legionnaires were summoned to come to the throne room and protect the king as well as instaurate peace in the throne room. With Balrog II Ironkiln bought to his knees, the court was in session. The crimes of Balrog II Ironkiln were stated, his defense starting. No dwarf bought his words, but a few tried to defend him and tried to get another chance for him to be forgiven. Terms were bought, all kinds of terms which would satisfy both sides, but none of them were enough for the evilness of Balrog made the most out of it. With all terms declined, Balrog II Ironkiln was let go to his pity ruins, but it would be not the end of it. As Balrog left, so did Ivär Goldhand. Ivär Goldhand, firstborn of Hekkaes Goldhand, Clan Father of the Goldhand Clan, Warden of Urguan, Protector of Kaz’Ad’Hekkaes, Lord of Kal’Ikrun ambled to the Goldhand soil in Sutica. Bursting inside the dwarven fort, he took out his golden horn blowing into it. The sound echoed through the fort, being heard aswell in Sutica. Seconds after the blow, the ground would begin to shake, as many dwarves emerged from the Fort, all in golden armor, with the sun reflecting on their armor made out of pure aurum. Spoiler Spoiler Ivär Goldhand took a step forward to the line of dwarves, clearing his throat before beginning “Attention! Sons and daughters of Tungdil, today is the day that marks the beginning of The Golden Grudge! Today is the day, in which we ask the Brathmordakin to purify our weapons, today is the day, in which we shall prepare ourselves to eliminate the enemy of Brathmordakin and Obsidian Throne. So arm yourselves! Salute your parents and children, for we shall fight with our kin shoulder to shoulder against the evil spawn of Khorvad!” Ivär would raise his golden greatsword into the sky, while letting out a terrifying roar ”Kadan nar bedwan eron Tungdil, veloz oz Urguan! Narvok oz Brathmordakin, Narvok oz Aurokanar, Narvok oz Urguan!”. As every dwarf began chanting after Ivär Goldhand, he stomped his foot into the ground, silence falling upon the dwarven fort, Ivär Goldhand once again preparing to speak “Brothers and sisters, it is time to show the world that the descendants of Tungdil Goldhand have not weakened! Let out the siege weapons!”. As would Ivär Goldhand command, the sound of metal scraping would be heard in the fort, as 4 platforms, each carrying siege harpoons would make their way to the entrance of the fort. But a far screeching of metals would be heard, and followed by that, would be 8 dwarves pushing a platform carrying a trebuchet to the entrance. With the siege weapons and every dwarf ready, Ivär Goldhand would shout “Let the war preparations begin! Let them fear the wrath of Brathmordakin! Let them crawl behind stones to hide! Let them beg for mercy, but show no mercy! ARUUUUUUUU”. Spoiler Spoiler And so would begin The Golden Grudge, the Goldhand clan training day and night for the upcoming war. The only term of the grudge would be the total annihilation of Mynebor.
