Sorcerio 4712 Share Posted June 7, 2020 A Plight Upon Our Knowledge Throughout the ages, the mali’thill of Haelun’or have been renowned as great keepers of knowledge, far superior in intellect and wisdom than the lesser races amongst them. Descendants from all walks of life have sought to lay eyes upon our overabundant wealth of knowledge, yet very few of the lessers were deemed fit to enter the blessed halls of our precious Eternal Library, the crown jewel of all knowledge within the realm. Alas, within recent years its gates have been closed to all, its venerated knowledge locked away from the very mali’thill which had endowed the State with the wisdom and sciences inscribed within those tomes, our blessed people barred from its contents for many decades in favor of supposed ‘reorganization’. For far too long has the Library undergone renovation after renovation, continuously starving ‘thill of the ability to know and to understand. This horrible dilemma can only be accredited to Kinahen Athrilum, the current Okarir’indor, who has hidden their face from the public just as they have hidden away our knowledge! Not only has their lack of prudence wrought calamity for the scholarly community within our Bastion, but their accusation of treason alone is enough to warrant them unfit to safely maintain the State’s dearest treasure. Time and time again they have proven that they are unable to maintain the blessed contents of our Library, and that is certainly no lightly-taken fault. It is with zeal for the knowledge we so rightly deserve, and in light of his dismissal from the Silver Council, that I formally challenge Kinahen to the position of Okarar’indor. Should I be chosen, I will work in favor of amending this fault of his incompetence and reopening the gates of the Library once more for the mali’thill to marvel and wonder at the great knowledge within its hallowed walls, instating a great age of enlightenment and erudition within elcihi’thilln. Thus, I implore your support in light of this depravity of knowledge we now suffer from. Permit me to unlock our vast halls of knowledge to the mali’thill and consign Kinahen’s actions to oblivion so they we may live within prosperity of knowledge once more. FlemishSupremacy 6115 Share Posted June 7, 2020 Elathion looks over the missive, smiling at the words. “About time a more capable candidate for Okarir’Indor stepped up. I can hardly imagine that Kinahen is given his position back, given how the majority of the Silver Citizenry dislike him, and he has shown to be grossly incompetent, keeping us Mali’thill from visiting the library for several years now!”

Demented_Delila 1248 Share Posted June 9, 2020 The elfess reviews the document, several times over. No amount of water could quench the sour taste in her mouth. “Gone, it seems, the days of running for council positions. What ever happened to that? Did they just forget, or do they not care anymore?” Dele would tear down an old framed sketch off the wall, tossing it into a box to be hidden with the rest. Sketches from a bygone era when she thought the city was well off, they’d been nothing but painful reminders of the current times. The missive on the new council laid next to the one from Olrin on her bedside table. Poor taste, she’d suppose. ”I’m sorry you’ve been shafted like this, mayilu...”
