Here are the disclaimers so I make sure you don’t go all hobgoblin pig wild, don’t metagame this info. This is a subjective view, some of these may be facts, and some may be how she remembered them. (Memory is not facts!) also if u metagame any of this im gonna find u n kill u. . . :). Also this was inspired by @Urara! I take no credit for this.

 

Context:

Theodora is a little noble girl born to Lorena Antonia Helane and Richard Victor Helvets, she tries to find her way in the world and uses this diary as an outlet for her feelings, her thoughts, and generally just for me to have fun. All of these will be in text (i'm lazy) (also i would add spelling mistakes but the perfectionist inside of me hates them so if there is a spelling mistake i will not fix it)

 

Entry 1 (6/16/20, dd/mm/yy)

 

 

Dear Diary,

Hello! My name is Theodora Angelica Helvets, although some people call me Theo, it's short for Theodora. I spoke with my papa today, he told me about my grandma, the Queen of Kaedrin. He said she’d spoil me! It’s too bad that she died way before I was born.  I haven’t seen mama, though, I hope she's okay!

 

Sometimes I think of how I’d be, as a Queen, maybe I can be the second Queen of Kaedrin, or, maybe I’ll take the title ‘King’, I’ve heard some female rulers have been known to take the title of King in Aeldin, but, I don’t know if that's true or not. It’s nice, in Kaedrin, I hope one day people will visit our country, and that all this tension will be over!

 

Anyways, I think this is good for a first entry. Do you? I think so. Thank you, Diary, I’m gonna name you Theodore, so that there’s a boy version of me.

 

Entry 2 (6/22/20)

Dear Diary,

Today I saw a woman held hostage by what I think is an elf, or those people that are saying ‘Justice for Christ Punchsteel’, and, I must admit this is why I do not like Helena anymore. Me and Lorena are moving back to Kaedrin with our family, and I. We held a funeral for my Aunt, Arianne Helvets, the Priest says she was the ideal Rhoswenii woman, brave, canonist, blonde-haired, fair skinned, blue eyes, etcetera. Additionally; those people who are screaming about ‘Christ Punchsteel’ came to our funeral, disrupting it! It made my mourning very hard. But, in good news, I met my cousin, Wilhelmina Beatrix Helvets, who has dubbed me the little hummingbird; the rare white one, specifically. Apparently it has albinism, which I’ve heard the Korvassan Rulers of the Principality of Vitenna have, as well. I have decided to take up learning Auvergne and Waldenian, two languages I like very much; maybe the next language I’ll learn will be Qalashi, however I’ve no use for it right now. I’ve never been anywhere outside of Oren, and I’d like to change that someday! But, for now, I’ll continue to wear my wigs and pull pranks in the Varoche.

Entry 3, (6/24/20)

Dear Diary,

Today I have decided to wear pants.

No longer shall I wear dresses, but, instead pants. I have found that pants, while a bit more tight, are more comfortable. Additionally, I have decided to become a warrior, or, a soldier, I do not want to be another lady-at-court, like some of my friends. My hair is getting shorter, too, getting short and curlier, just like my mama’s (Who I’ve not seen in a while), and I have decided to try to get someone to train me, to be a warrior. Yesterday, someone called me a brat, so, I called them a ratty hair dog looking cat-eyed two faced freak, even though they had one face, no cat eyes, and didn’t look like a dog. I think it’s time for me to go into the woods, now, I’ve been meaning to do that.

Entry 4, (7/7/20)

Dear Diary,

The war has started.

We are cooped up in the Varoche Palace, wondering for our lives. Me and Lorena are not allowed to go outside, and I assume it’s the same for my cousin, Wilhelmina, who I call ‘Mina’. Since the day I was kidnapped, I’ve not seen any guards (or ISA) in Owynsburg, or, Kaedrin, even. It’s very frustrating, as I’d like for the citizens to be safe, as well. Isolde, the court astrologer, is currently being cared for in Myre Hall. I’m scared, I can’t stand being cooped in the Varoche any longer (even though its been one month), Mina and Frau Ivanna del Rosario were writing letters to the Citizenry of Kaedrin, telling them to stay inside their homes until the war is over... I’ve heard that people are being shot, and kidnapped, and that they’re sending people to Kaedrin to get us.

 

I want a Guard Force.
