A Marivessian Death

[!] A missive is spread around Arcas [!]

It is with a heavy heart, that I regret to inform, the Kings spiral of madness has set him into suicide. He will be given a proper burial alongside the  forefathers of Marivesse. Yet, there also seems to be things I must address. I have been sending and receiving letters from the High Pontiff of the Church of Canon, and have decided that, although Marivesse lets its citizens have whatever religion they would like to have, the Canon religion is not banned from my city, and I will be thinking of looking into rebuilding the church that the ‘Keeper’ destroyed.

I also reject the secularist state the King created. I understand the things the late king may have said caused issues, but I will be working hard to create a happy place for people to live. I am no tyrant, I only want a city full of peace and happiness.

Signed,

Alexandra Perot, Queen of  Marivesse

The High Keeper read over the missive and gave it a quiet nod. “Not sure what the hell is going on down there anymore, changing things as often as they do, but good luck to ‘em, I guess.” The priestess would then shrug indifferently and toss the missive in her fireplace. Maybe they’ll find some semblance of order soon. Not placing any bets on it, though.”
