It appears that some of you fear that I am joking about being king, therefore, I must remind you that I am fully committed to raise the dwarven nation to new standards. Some people think that I will work under him as a vice-king or whatever, that will never happen. I have always worked for myself and only me, you either vote for me or you do not.

Jorvin’s plan is certainly good. I can give him that, but it is simply the same thing as always. Things won’t change, there’s nothing that will improve. Jorvin is coming out like a cocky individual and that will bite him in the end.

Being king is not only a matter of social policies but also of character. Ask yourself, would you follow Jorvin into battle ? No. Did Jorvin ever organise events when he was in important positions ? No. Why would he change when he suddenly becomes king ? 

Jorvin’s reaction to my nomination tells a lot. He had to nominate himself before being nominated by another clan. Jorvin thought the election was a done deal but my impressive policies challenged him. Jorvin also looked furious at the whole ordeal, why ? This is just challenging him to become a better candidate but his reaction to the whole ordeal tells me he won’t.

I fear like most of your judgments are clouded because of my history, I ask you to judge me on a clean slate. This is the moment where you have the choice to be apart of something new that will improve the quality of our kingdom in various ways.

MINING GUILD REFORM

Introducing the 2-mine-system, a system where people can roleplay tunnel building but also mine without caring. The leader of the guild will now take his followers into the mine to teach them about mining. The mining guild will also be introduced in the city. 

Quotas will be removed but the entrance fee maintained in order to fund the cost of those mines. The mining guild leader will be given a political position in the council. The mining guild might get the sell/buy rights to ores in the kingdom after a vote. I personally have even more ideas for the mining guild.

There is more to come but the mining guild will become an important role play hub.

BETTER FOREST DWARF INTEGRATION

 

Forest dwarves are somewhat laughed at but sometimes they beat us in player activity. They should be able to participate in the kingdom’s decision. I will personally build a better road linking both our cities, in order to promote trade and better discussion(roleplay) in between us.

 

The forest dwarves clans that fit the criteria to obtain a seat on the council will be given one. A better road to Heffrum will be built.

 

The end goal is to make the forest dwarves equal to us and be apart of our history forward. I feel like they have been somewhat shamed these recent years. They are our brothers and should be treated well.

PROMOTING PLAYER ACTIVITY

 

Our problem is not trade, is not cultural policies, it’s that there’s nobody in our city. There’s nothing to do and that is my plan, improve our activity. Jorvin has no plan to actually promote it. That’s why voting for him at the moment is not the right choice.

 

The activity under Jorvin will never change because he has no proposition.

It is time we stop having the same events every week like drinking contests and we start planning events that make sense and that will promote character development.
