The Emerging of the Elder Treebeards

For a while the Treebeards have retreated into itself isolation as the last meeting which was held by Lekso Treebeard was called the clan agreed on the election of a new Clan Mother, the Elder Lekso lead the meeting and all the family of his sat around to listen to his words, his talk of religion and clan politics until it fell upon the last task at hand, the Treebeard clan declared Ulvi Treebeard the true Clan Mother of the Elder Clan of Treebeards to lead the Treebeards down a new path as the young rebellious dwarfess held the passion to do so.

 

The Majority of the Treebeards have voted so long ago and has come to attention that some say another Treebeard holds the title of Clan Father by self proclaiming, the act of self proclaiming themself as leader without contacting any Elder or the Current Clan Mother is a grave insult, the Treebeards which held problems emerged last stone day to hopefully correct this wrong but was ultimately called liars by the Hefrumm High Chief Karl Blackroot which upset the Treebeards which attended the informal meeting, the Pretender still clinging to the false self proclaimed title in the process, the reasoning which was presented was there was no proof, even after an Elder of the Treebeard clan confirmed this to be true as well as presented the relic of an ‘Elder Staff’ a staff handed down by the last proper Clan Chief Ozneat Treebeard to the Elder of the Treebeard clan to mark the legitimate of that Elder.

 

This leads to the conclusion of the Treebeards returning to correct this wrong, so the clan which many of the Treebeards spent years in and creating to reclaim the legitimacy which most within Hefrumm’s leadership refuse to acknowledge over the pretender, which has made the Treebeards hold a second vote to distance themselves from Hefrumm for it’s very clear unwelcoming to the proper clan.

Grain Treebeard would sit in a lone room filled with books when a knock on his door would be heard, he would leave his desk and open only to receive an open letter from his clan. He would open the letter and read it. He would smile and nod ”Foinalle’, oi can return from me exile and rejoin wit’ t’e true Chief Ulve’!”He’d say as he would start packing his books and clothes from his room. Making way to meet up with his lost kin.

Elder Lekso Treebeard, the aging Forest Dwarf nods his head “Aye, that do be a thing I agree on, I hope this time Hefrumm will send birds to correct Treebeards rather then just declare one without informing anyone, would be nice” a slow old man shrug rolls upon his shoulders “Kinda annoying when yeh do something for yeh clan and it’s not even ‘allowed’ accourding to those who nae even in it … but it’s whatever really”

Elder Norazod Treebeard, despite arriving late to the meeting, received the letter marked with the Treebeard seal. He opens the letter and reads the notice within, narrowing his eyes as he reads further. Once done, he folds the letter neatly and places it within the pocket of his now-ripping pants. “Lekso, me olda brot’er, oi ‘ave been waiting a long time fer ye to call upon us all.” The balding forest dwarf chuckles with a tear in his eye. He wipes it, changing his expression to a more serious tone. “Anythin fer family. Ye ‘ave my support Ulvi.” He nods as he returns to his cave in preparation.

Bat a' guess victimhood es a good tactic to try to get support. A' 'ope thes sillyness es resolved. Tho it es a shame that an elder clan es net able to solve disputes weth some integrity. "

Lekso Treebeard wonders why the High Chief is playing oblivious, when the Elder very clearly saw with his own eyes that Ulvi was called a liar “makes sense”

The High Preceptor hears the news regarding the Treebeards, and is saddened that there was no attempts to resolve the conflict within the Clan. He lets out a deep sigh, thinking Thorin a pretty reasonable fellow who would have likely compromised with the elders if they had just gone any route other than this one.

Lekso the Elder of the Treebeard clan frowns deeply upon hearing this baseless claims “I fought in wars for meh clan as an Elder of da Treebeards, I even fought along side my good friends in the Goldhands to capture orcs when Dwarves fought with them, my title was gifted to me by proper elders and so was Ulvis, meh still waiting for the message from yeh lot, but you never gave it to me”
