They had to regenerate the whole city, yes they were the main contributors but so were many other Ascended who are not leaving the server. In my opinion there was nothing "Great" about this departure. The Ascended always created a lot of drama out of character, and once they felt it was time to leave they had to make a huge deal out of it. Well if I were to leave this server I would have just said goodbye to my close friends and leave. But obviously the sages wanted all the attention on them. That is why the Ascended did not work out. Um... Sir, With all due respect, I think this was a logical choice. Imagine you , King of the Dwarves, Not telling any of your followers your leaving. if the Ascended hadnt told us it would have been more chaotic in the long run. I think this made much more sense than them just "Shoving off." And I think this proves that the Ascended do care for the server, if they just left we might begin to think they dislike is. This explained the situation much better, and although we are grieving, we know why we are. The Ascended will return... Brian, as much as I wish I could say that's true, Im not so sure. shiftnative 3103 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Knowing what was said wouldn't provide anyone with anything, Sage Arcadius misinterpreted some of our staff and things were taken personally when they weren't directed at him, or the Sages. argonian 14254 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Ok, I'll trust native because of how much he does for the server but it must have been an extremely bad miscommunication to get the Sages angry enough to leave the server, have Sue attempt to spam and Riizu and Juno regenerate Haven and Aeriel's keep without even thinking how many items people had in both those places. KarmaDelta 969 Share Posted September 29, 2011 At first i was like " Ascended are sooooooooooooooooo bad". Now after rp'ing i know that hardly anyone talks of the Ascended. Which made me not like them more. But after a while, seeing all the nice people, on TS and off of it, they where all actually nice! So then i started likng them more and more and look more. And after Maiavel join i was like "Thats it! I love em". If they have Maiavel there it is obviously good! Im not saying Maiavel joining was what made me love them now. But I really dont know at what point made me love them. I actually wanted to be an Ascended after RP'ing with Garn XD. Well looks like its not happening now. Poor Shame. Even though im banned i will still mess them. *sheds a tear* Hope you people enjoy what you have and what you are going to be doing. A funny thing now is that im sure many newbies that where like "Oh Ascended they are so badass i wanna join" and after they read what is on the front page that ehy would be mad...... Azriel Lucius 0 Share Posted September 29, 2011 ((I enjoyed roleplaying with the Sages extensively and I'm sorry to see them leave, but that regen ended up making me lose a lot of items, a good chunk of which were bought with the Minas I earned from donating a lot of money to the server. If you're gonna leave, that's your prerogative but don't hurt the entire server because of your grievances with a few people. I didn't do anything to any of you, nor did anyone else.))
