Well..... im very upset as a member of the server... ascended was one of the funnest AMD greatest thing that has happened to me as a gamer. I knew as a group we were mis treated and the other groups or gms whatever they were, were very rude nd people can only take so much. I love you guys, sue your an awesome guy and rizzu great job with adding so much to the server. I ill miss you all message me what the last ascended should do :/ and if you ever want to meet up again :)

Before people misunderstand. The GM and Staff team were in no way rude or disrespectful to the above group of players. The Ascended was an LoTC creation designed by the LoTC staff, it was formally decided that they would be removed in the next installment as they caused a major amount of imbalance issues and ruined a lot of players RP enjoyment. I'm sure it enriched some peoples enjoyment of the game especially the Ascended themselves who enjoyed better privelages and a higher level of control than normal players.

Again, I repeat, the staff did not hurt the integrity of the race nor of the players above who have decided to leave. Each person has his specific reasons and we will not be discussing them here. The removal of the Ascended however had a big part in it.

Whose side am I going to take in this situation.

The trolls (Riizu and Sue ONLY. The others are FINE. I will MISS Arcadius and Blaedr with all my heart) who nearly made me quit the server several times over with their constant abuse of power, position and prestige...

The user who trolled on OOC all the time without getting even a slap on the wrist? The users who could absolutely not physically handle someone disagreeing with them without throwing a fit? The users who refused to let me attempt to intelligently discuss something with them without accusing me of trolling?

The "GMs" who decided to, in one last fit similar to one a child would throw, regen the whole of Haven and Aeriel's Keep, deaf to the fact that other users, Ascended or not, may have had homes or items there?

Or am I going to take the side of Native, the absolute SAINT of this server, who puts up with so much crap and asks so little in return? The one who deals with all of our problems, listens to all of our complaints, takes all of our feedback and all the while asks nothing in return but people to respect him?

I am sorry you feel you had to leave; but the side of the story that should be believed here is incredibly obvious to me. I hope that any new users who may fall for whatever the ex-sages are attempting to pull here do not do so.

This is shocking news. But I can understand both sides of the argument, players are jealous of Ascended and Undead, whereas everything the Sages have worked for is gone.

I took a two day break and lose everything. All of my valuables were stored in ariel's keep and haven. The sages did not quit because of removal. They had grand rp plans to make the removal enjoyable for the server. Someone went way over the line to push them to this.

Frankly, I am rather confused and angry about this. I know that both parties in this fiasco (The Ascended and the Staff.) Had motivation for what they did, and reason to justify them.

But what I do not accept or agree with is how the Ascended were asked to step down, and how little it was publicized to the general populous.

I knew nothing of the Ascended leaving until I saw the forest where Haven once stood. I was shocked, confused, and just a little disgusted.

Forcing players to stand down from their positions is one thing, but deleting something that not only Ascended spent countless days building, but also the many denizens of Aegis who aided them, seems unjustified and just a little like someone wanted to hide something.

How it was worded was that Haven and Aeriel's keep could not stay in the realm of Aegis without the Sage's power to stabilize them.

But I heard a rather different story indeed.

I wish there was be a formal post by the Staff about the Ascended/Undead being removed rather than just on-the-fly, disjointed posts on threads. We have the right to know how and why this is happening. There's no point being hush-hush about it, is there?

Wow. Just.. Wow.

I can't even really think of where to start. I take one day to enjoy practicing a new pattern ( I knit), to clean a bit around the house, enjoy time with my husband, and I sit down at my computer to find all of 'this'.

I came to LoTC to find a fun roleplay experience, not all of this drama. The months that I played I devoted quite a bit of my time to various things in order to help them develop into something more, and quite a bit of it got thrown in my face. I was fine with it, so long as the people I did the work for benefited from that work. They did, so far as I know.

I wont, however, stand around and pretend that the treatment I've seen bestowed on my friends is 'okay'. It's horrible, disappointing, wrong... I just... I'm done.
