The Ascended and Undead are being removed with the release of LoTC 2.0 for those who are unaware. Thank you for your time and we hope you enjoyed playing on LoTC.

Before people misunderstand. The GM and Staff team were in no way rude or disrespectful to the above group of players. The Ascended was an LoTC creation designed by the LoTC staff, it was formally decided that they would be removed in the next installment as they caused a major amount of imbalance issues and ruined a lot of players RP enjoyment. I'm sure it enriched some peoples enjoyment of the game especially the Ascended themselves who enjoyed better privelages and a higher level of control than normal players.

Again, I repeat, the staff did not hurt the integrity of the race nor of the players above who have decided to leave. Each person has his specific reasons and we will not be discussing them here. The removal of the Ascended however had a big part in it.

I can't even really think of where to start. I take one day to enjoy practicing a new pattern ( I knit), to clean a bit around the house, enjoy time with my husband, and I sit down at my computer to find all of 'this'.

I came to LoTC to find a fun roleplay experience, not all of this drama. The months that I played I devoted quite a bit of my time to various things in order to help them develop into something more, and quite a bit of it got thrown in my face. I was fine with it, so long as the people I did the work for benefited from that work. They did, so far as I know.

I wont, however, stand around and pretend that the treatment I've seen bestowed on my friends is 'okay'. It's horrible, disappointing, wrong... I just... I'm done.

Well I hope this isn't the last we see of you, Maiavel. You are always welcome back to the (currently Deltaro-Free) Druids, as you were a huge part in our creation. I'm sure you helped develop with the Ascended as well.

Something I missed in my last post that I just don't feel like editing...a number of GMs have completely ignored what the players want. A number have completely listened...and they couldn't do anything about this because Availers word controls everything...I'm honestly sad...when I moved away from all my friends a little over a month ago, all I really did was watch shows and movies off of Netflix and I was really depressed...I still have no friends around here...but I started playing this server and got really cheered up...the amazing conflict between the undead and the Ascended along with all the rp in between with different sides and really awesome encounters of rp which passed hours in my days is probably all gone now...honestly, I just want to scream at someone. I'm resisting just spamming curse words. This...this just sucks...I'm really sad.

Ah, Maiavel, i agree,it is wrong, and you have every right to be mad. i hope you do not leave the server as you are one of the best roleplayers i have met and the server will be worse off without you

This is extremely confusing. So who will replace the Ascended Sages ic, why exactly have they reached the conclusion to leave ooc, and what will happen to people who lost all their items in wealth in the Ascended Bank?

Forcing players to stand down from their positions is one thing, but deleting something that not only Ascended spent countless days building, but also the many denizens of Aegis who aided them, seems unjustified and just a little like someone wanted to hide something.

For the record, so everyone is aware. The Sages removed Haven and the Cidital without word.

As there last act, before we removed there powers, they regened all of Haven. Which is greatly upsetting to me, granted yes they are the ones who built Haven, but that place was for LOTC, not for only them. Omtra, who also took a large part in building Haven, is not leaving. I'am sure he is greatly upset that so much time he put into building that amazing place was wiped out with out his consent.

Nothing is more sickening than their last attempt at retribution by deleting these places that are part of Aegis. It's an obvious indicator of why they resigned in the first place.

I'm sure people will understand, there are over 25 GMs, two left because of obvious reasons. As the other 25 GMs what they feel about it and they'll show obvious relief. Do not let their propaganda trick you into thinking they were the victims, if they were, the rest of the GM team would follow.

The Ascended could not just leave could they. They had to regenerate the whole city, yes they were the main contributors but so were many other Ascended who are not leaving the server. In my opinion there was nothing "Great" about this departure. The Ascended always created a lot of drama out of character, and once they felt it was time to leave they had to make a huge deal out of it. Well if I were to leave this server I would have just said goodbye to my close friends and leave. But obviously the sages wanted all the attention on them. That is why the Ascended did not work out.
