Resignation of Royal Alderman

From His Excellency, Holy Sir Nicolas, Equestor-Imperator and Praefectus Castrorum of the Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn, Secretariat to His Holiness & Delegate of the Pontifical Legation to Humanity, Royal Alderman of the Duma

 

Greetings.

 

As I am sure you have read in the recent TERTIUS BULLA AUREA ALBAROSA, the Pontifical Legate and the Supreme Order of Exalted Owyn, both organizations in the Church that I have the honor to serve under, have been given a mission by Pontifex Maximus Owyn III to work with the military and legislative divisions in the Dual Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska and establish legislation that counters secularism & tolerance of heretics within the Kingdom. Although the Dual Kingdom currently has robust sections of the Haurul Caezk dedicated to these very matters, I must nonetheless take up the task given to me in the Golden Bull. Therefore, I find myself experiencing a conflict of interest; that is, I am tasked with lobbying the Duma for a Foreign Organization while also thereby have voting power on those same bills. I was elected as a Royal Alderman, with the charge to represent the views of the wider Haeseni public. While all subjects of Haense are, of course, Canonists, I cannot help but believe that I will not be able to represent them with the due impartiality required.

 

Therefore, effective immediately, I resign my post as Royal Alderman. I want to thank you for your due diligence in running the Royal Duma and I want to thank the subjects of Haense for their support of me during my tenure in this position.
