The Civil Disobedience Bill of 367 ES

Introduced in the Duma.

 

An act to introduce civil disobedience as a criminal offense.


 

INTRODUCTION

This bill seeks to criminalize the act of civil disobedience and disturbing the peace.  

 

I. Necessary Definitions

  • Civil Disobedience: When one engages in public unruly behaviour, such as creating a public disturbance or endangering others or themselves. 

 

II. Amendments

  • The following shall be added to the Haurul Caezk:

 

440: Civil Disobedience

            440.01: The crime of publicly threatening an individual with the intent of causing them physical harm will constitute a middling offense;

            440.02: The crime of making unreasonable noise will constitute a minor offense;

            440.03: The crime of endangering themselves or others while in an intoxicated state will constitute a minor offense;

            440.04: The crime of lodging in any building without the permission of the owner will constitute a minor offense.
