Nobility Personal Guard Reform of 368 ES

Introduced in the Duma.

 

An act to reform the system of the nobility’s personal guards.


 

INTRODUCTION

This bill seeks to amend the law regarding the right of the nobility to retain two personal guards, and create its own section dealing particularly with the personal guards of the nobility, such as increasing the amount of personal guards that certain peerages may retain, and clarifying that the Peers may construct a residence for their personal guards.

 

I. Necessary Definitions

  • Personal Guard: Someone in the hire of a Haeseni Peer and their Noble Kin, tasked with their protection.

 

II. Amendments

  • Section 603.07 shall be amended to the following:

603.07: A Haeseni Peer and their noble kin shall be entitled to retain personal guards, in accordance with Section 605;


 

  • Section 605 shall be added to the Haurul Caezk:

605: Personal Guards

605.01: A Haeseni Peer may hire and retain personal guards for the protection of themselves and their noble kin;

605.02: The amount of personal guards a Haeseni Peer may hire and retain shall depend on the rank of their peerage;

605.021: A Baron or Baroness may hire and retain one personal guard.

605.022: A Viscount or Viscountess may hire and retain two personal guards.

605.023: A Count or Countess may hire and retain two personal guards.

605.024: A Margrave or Margravine may hire and retain three personal guards.

605.025: A Duke or Duchess may hire and retain four personal guards.

605.03: A Haeseni Peer shall be allowed to construct a residence for their personal guards upon their land.
