In the woman’s hands was a paper with headlines ‘A Suitable Union’ held high, obscuring the view of her countenance. She lowered the papers a tad— In the distance she could see the church’s towering and pristinely white walls making ants out of all who dare look upon it. It was to be a fine marriage, a suitable one as the missive informed, yet the woman frowned for reasons unbeknownst to all but the conscious of her mind.
