The Augustine Palace formally invites all courtiers and residents of Dobrov to partake of a formal hunt, hosted by the joint efforts of trophy hunter Claude Élisabeth Ashford de Savoie, Majordomo Anna d'Arkent and the Countess Dobrov, for the purpose of fur and skins. The hunt will be primarily focused on bear and fox spoils, seeking to take advantage of the Woldzkiy forests in which the hunt will commence.

The hunting party will congress at the square of Dobrov to be assigned their horse and beagle. Daggers, bows and arrows will also be supplied, but it is recommended to sport the crested stalking gear of one’s house. One can also bring their own horse and beagle, or if they wish to purchase their assigned pairing, they may do so for a bartered price.

LEGENDARY TROPHY

Huntsmaster Claude has come into valuable information regarding the locations of two legend-locked animals said to be inhabiting the forests of Dobrov. These hunts are glory catches fiercely sought after among hunting circles across the Empire for their history and mysticism. If the hunting party were to encounter either of these animals, there must be an immediacy of attention to the huntsmaster, for she will direct the party in either seizing the moment to win the catches, or to respect the boundaries of nature to be able to ensure the safety of animal and person. Below are the descriptions of either to look out for throughout the venture:

Mortis Morko

Named for its haunting red eyes which survivors say resemble the deathly stare of a corpse. The bear’s left eye is mangled and rotten, with a patch of fur missing from behind its ear. This hunt is also exceptionally oversized, said to encompass the height of two men on both feet. Legend states that the animal was a result of foul necromancy that left it in a state of perpetual rigor mortis.

The Fox of Metterden

Named for the daunt of the Dobrovi Countess consort Elizaveta of Metterden and her sister Irene, which has been called ‘fox-like’ by woldzkiy after their combined attempt at the assassination of King Heinrik II of Haense. The fox sports a deep red, almost crimson, coat of fur, exceptionally rare for its species. Legend has it that the fox was born under the same blood moon as was countess Alexandra.

Maisie d'Arkent marked her calendar, never one to miss a good hunt. Although she recalled her own hunt from her season - a shutter went down her spine. "Ought to keep crossbows away from Margaux if she comes..."

Alexandra picks some old sticks out of her hair– not because she was fearful of these court ladies berating her for her strange, naturalistic fashion. No, she needed to find some new ones with leaves on them.
