It has been many months since Herman first saw reason, and allowed himself to be advertised as single and ready to mingle. He was soon after thrust into a whirlwind of suitors! Girls arrived from around Almaris, naturally, and were ferried in and out of the Nikirala Prikaz doors one after another, each one vying for his affections. But Herman remained strong.

 

To most, Herman refused to say a single word. Some lucky ladies solicited a squint from the crab, and very few were successful enough to converse with the bachelor. Yet now, it pleases the Crown to announce an official engagement of Herman and Helena, the Hermit Crabs. First introduced to one another by Koenas Emma’s Lady in Waiting, Lady Marie Ludovar, Helena became a firm favourite in everyone’s eyes. 

 

May their union be blessed under the eyes of Godani, and witnessed by family and friends of the couple within the palace’s smaller chapel. With Herbert, the Lord Kaustantin, and His Majesty, King Sigismund making up the groomsmen. Not forgetting Henrietta, and Marie Ludovar (the initiator of the match) as the bridesmaids, it’s certain to be the event of the season.
