To all musicians of the Kingdom, 

 

May this missive stir some greater musical force within your soul. Hear faint tinkling's of notes, dashes of accents and trills, the striking accompaniment of chords reverberate in your brain as you scan these words. For it is here announced that A BATTLE OF BALLADS shall take place in Karosgrad’s theatre. 

 

Contestants will stand before His Lordship, Gustaf Morovar and Isabella Decaden to be judged on their musical performance. Be it singing, instrumental, or otherwise… all are welcome! 

 

Of course, there can only be one winner. The lucky musician will gain the prize of a rare, hand-carved violin trophy - to display in pride of place, as reflective of their talent. They will also win, alongside the award, 100 mina! 

 

No need to sign up, just show up - with vocal chords rested, and fingers spry and ready to pluck and press, in order to dazzle the judges.
