“Today, we vote to finally grant the women of Haense the ability to inherit lands and titles on the same grounds as their male counter-parts, certainly a necessary step in the progress of our nation. We have too long suffered at the hands of obsolete traditions.

- His Excellency, Eirik Baruch.

[!] Crisp, creamy envelopes would be directed to every woman within the Kingdom of Haense. Stamped with the sigil of the Queen’s Council - a crown resting upon a rose bush - and carried by Nikirala messengers, the invitation would read as follows…

To commemorate a sweeping victory, HRM Emma Karenina extends an invitation to the Nikirala Palace, for an evening soirée. Regale under soft candlelight, bright jewels winking in a smoky room, heavy with rose-scented incense. A celebration of femininity; of drinking and eating with women from different backgrounds.

Times are changing in our weather-hardened Kingdom. With the coming of Spring, the ice will melt and in their place flowers will tentatively unfurl. Blooming petals of revitalisation, of rebirth. The change of seasons could not be more fitting.

The itinerary for the night will be simple:

I. A dinner party, first and foremost, where the Nikirala chefs have prepared grand platters of heaving food and drink, for the ladies of Haense to sit and feast.

II. The Koenas’ guests will be subjected to an introductory speech from Her Majesty, once the main meals have been served.

III. After the meal, accompanied by music, sweet teas and biscuits will be passed around, for the women to lounge and informally catch up. Dancing shall be encouraged, for there is much to celebrate.

Signed,

HRM, Emma Karenina, Queen-Consort of Hanseti-Ruska

Thomund Bishop reads the missive in it's entirety.
He shows a wide smile, and sends copies of it to his family and friends so that they all can attend as well.

As he walks away from his desk, he is happy.
"Lob 'Haense"
"Krusae Zwy Kongzem."
