kaylacita 1018 Share Posted March 12, 2022 A FAITHFUL PILGRIMAGE Issued by the DUCHY OF REINMAR On this 2nd day of The Grand Harvest of 67 SA It has been close to a year now since we left for our pilgrimage. In this time, have we traveled far and wide. We have bare witness to many places, people and events. With no weapons nor armor on our side except for the Blessed Axe, we were not once under threat, not once did we come under malcontent as GOD kept us safe. The first part of our promise to the High Pontiff is now complete, as we turn our eyes back home to start the tutorship to become Deacons of the Mother Church. With this, do we also fulfill the second promise, only much greater in size. From the Houses of Barclay von Reinmar and Barclay von Freimark, the sum of 6500 mina has been sent forwards to the Holy Mother Church, 500 of which shall be directed to the newly found St. Catherine’s orphanage in the Royal City of Karosgrad. [!] Below the missive was attached a journal, the route which the Prince and Princess of Sutica took on their pilgrimage. Basilica of St. Heinrik - The Royal City of Karosgrad Our first destination was the Basilica of St. Heinrik. Situated at the heart of the Capital of the Kongzem of Hanseti-Ruska. Upon entering, we knelt before the Statue of GOD and prayed to St. Heinrik to bring justice upon those who would stay from the path of GOD, and to bless the common folk of Canondom with plentiful harvest. After our prayer, we knelt before Exalted Sigismund’s reliquary, soon after departing. Shrine of St. Tylos - The Kongzem of Hanseti-Ruska From the Basilica of St. Heinrik, did we depart towards the cold northern wastes of the Rimeveld, where the Shrine of our distant relative, St. Tylos of Kalden was located. After a harsh journey, did we arrive at the site. We knelt before the shrine, praying for those lost from GOD’s light and the recovery of Canondom’s horse population which has suffered greatly in this war. Chapel of St. Tylos - The Duchy of Reinmar From the frozen Rimeveld and the Shrine of St. Tylos did we make our way back to our home. Briefly did we stay in the grounds of Reinmar as we walked to the still damaged Chapel - offering a prayer to the Health of all those who reside within the Duchy, and that all damage done to GOD’s plain be repaired. Church of Vuillermoz - The Viscounty of Vuillermoz After prayer in the Chapel of St. Tylos, did we move onwards towards the border of the Holy Orenian Empire. Our aim was to go see the relics of St. Harald Vuiller, but our path towards the church was obstructed by some sort of spell having taken over the trees. Instead, lacking the equipment to break through such, did we kneel before the entrance, praying for St. Harald to watch over those who’ve died in service to the Church, and that the servants of Iblees be banished from this plain. Basilica of the Argentate Star - New Providence After traversing through the Orenian countryroad, did we make our way to the Empire’s Capital. There, we were met by the Archchancellor and escorted by him and some Knights to the Basilica. Upon entering the Basilica, did we kneel before GOD’s altar, offering a prayer to humanity, and mending of relations between the Canonist nations. Crossroads Chapel - The Holy Orenian Empire On our way to leave the Empire, we paused at the Crossroads. There, we entered their Chapel for a quick prayer to those who have lost their lives fighting in this war, and to all those Canonist soldiers who still continue to raise arms in defense of their homes. Basilica of Bl. George of Leuvardeen - San Luciano For the final destinations of our pilgrimage, we headed south towards the Principality of Savoy. There, we stepped to the Basilica of Bl. George of Leuvardeen and knelt and began prayer for the health of our children and families. Church of the Blessed Nicolas As we exited the capital of Savoy, we headed towards our cousins in the County of Freimark. In a church named after our ancestors, we signed the Hussariyan and knelt for the final time, our uttered prayer in dedication to those who laid down their lives for our Canonist faith. IN NAMEN GOTTES, His Excellency, Johann Erich Barclay, Lord Marshal of Hanseti-Ruska, Prince of Sutica, Duke of Reinmar, Margrave of Vanderfell, Count of Kretzen, Baron of Freising and Sigradz, Lord Vandalore, Lord of Wilheburg and Freisburg, Chieftain of the Reinmaren Her Princely Grace, Georgina Sofiya Barclay, Grand Lady of Hanseti-Ruska, Princess-Consort of Sutica, Duchess-Consort of Reinmar
