The Duty of d’Azor

14th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1869

On the 11th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1869, the County of d’Azor declares it’s fealty to King Frederick I as it’s rightful liege and it’s allegiance to the Kingdom of Oren.

It is the responsibility of the peers of the realm to uphold loyalty to the crown of Oren, as they have for generations passed. The County of d’Azor is upholding the duty that has been bestowed upon it in order to further serve the best to the ability of the comital lands. It shall continue to serve evermore within the Kingdom of Oren through commerce and a striving for excellence in House d’Azor.

Ave King Fredrick I.

Long may he reign.

SIGNED,

Edmund Ledicort d’Azor, Count of Azor

Mariana Antionette d’Azor, Heiress to Azor

Ariana Helen stares at the missive signed by father and sister with narrowed eyes, unable to understand as she continues to find cheese for her sister! "Mari!" She'd giggle absently as she went about her estate with gleem.

The Baroness of Aquliae, Diana Vuiller, would pause as she read the missive. She would be relaxing in her dining room with her pug on her lap.

"Seems like Azor picked a side after all. Good luck to my family. Seems it will be rare to visit."

"Hmm...." Pondered one Victoria Augusta. "After their treason during the war, they should earn their way back into the Kingdoms graces. Nevertheless, the House of Azor has already disgraced itself, permanently."

The Baron of of Aquliae Rev Vuiller would look to his wife as he stood next to her with a glass of wine in his hand giving it a spin. A heavy breath leaving him as he shook his head.
