Grand Senate Reforms

This bill seeks to only improve the Senate on some minor issues and to restore a better view of the system. Inside this bill it will contain three sections containing: Clan Representation, and Selection of Regent.

 

I - Clan Representation

 

All clans are guaranteed a seat in the Senate so that they may be able to be represented to debate and bring forth bills before the Senate. Though all clans that are not eligible by normal guidelines will still be unable to vote.

 

II - Selection of Regent

 

If Regency is needed, the Grand King is able to select his own choice for Regent. If he/she is unable to select their Regent, the Senate will nominate and declare their own Regent if needed. The selected Regent by the Grand King shall be required to be voted on by the Senate for approval, if they are to hold the position for more than a stone week. If they are in need of removal, it shall require ¾ of the Senate to remove.
