Alright. So do we have confirmation on what new Sects we want?

I've decided on;

  • Theology
  • Architecture
  • Scholarship
  • Mercantile
  • Battle; Disciple,Praetor, Battle-mage.

Council will have two members from each sect, to be voted for every In-game year. We have a Justicaar (name to be chosen) who can choose to veto one law per amount of time. We also have a Seer on the council who gives guidance from Aeriel.

Please suggest anything I have missed.

So you added architecture, thats great, I was already thinking you had forgotten something!

I do not agree with the idea of a merchant ascended. What use does Aeriel have for minas?

I suggest a Nature faction of sorts, I do not have a fancy name for it, but I am sure thats where one of the ex sages was. One dedicated to preserving the lands.

(I'm pretty sure we are keeping the Merchant/Nature sect, as we need someone who can buy us all those gold blocks for staves.

There was an ascended tending to the tree of life before a druid existed. It is not single orders job to start with. Anyone is capable of helping or harming nature.

The mercantile sect is mainly for the ascended banking. We are communal and anything except for gold and diamond belong to the group.

The architecture sect may be removed seeing as we no longer need to build anything. Also there is a lack of candidates I trust to fill the position. We have a couple builders but they are going to be doing other duties.

These are still just ideas and will change a lot. We are not using all of the old system but we will still use quite a bit.

You don't build much, yes, but you guys at least need a base of operation.

OOC:

An architecture sect would be a useful for future builds especially in 1.9 (IF we still exist). I'll be willing to help build, since I'm quite a talented architect.

Interjecting here purely as OOC. Why have a merchants sect when all you really want is one treasurer?

Because there may be a need to have multiple people fulfill the role. But, much like the Theology sect, it will most likely remain small.
