Allona would adjust the few things she had on her desk as she waited for any newcomers to come through. A smile plastered on her face, she looks out the window, awaiting any letters coming her way.

Deep in the forests of western Almaris, Greiret Elverhilin, son of Lhindir and Immortal Knight of the Dominion of Old, cast his gaze to the fireplace in the refurbished, once abandoned mage's tower he called home. Funny, he thought. Once he was capable of casting blazes which made this one before him look like a jester's worst joke. Fire's light danced off of him,  as he reflected upon the past - and his current dejected state. He thought of the Enchantry's invasion of the Inferi realm. He thought of his duel with Lefkos outside of Linandria. Cheza. The Bronze Rebellion, Gladewynn and the Dominion. Kairn. Lhindir. He grew uncomfortable, anxious even. This place was not home any longer. Indeed. Home was not solitude, not this place. Not this empty shell of the past.

A scion, herself, one of the oldest around spoke as she glanced at the advertisement, her tone laced with not only spite but... pity. The elf inhaled sharply, returning to her home in the Palace of Celia'nor, hands clasped behind her back.

 

"Even Sarrion is having second thoughts. They not not the cost of the affliction they so willingly partake in. Insanity. To willingly succumb to that. They are desperate for power.. So much so, they won't know the consequences until it is all too late."
