In the year of our Lord, 1927 . . .

High above the calm seas, the crimson flag of the Silver Eagle billowed proudly. As anchors were cast into the uncharted depths below, the men and women of Aldersberg began their laborious row to the mainland, unaware of what or who awaited them. The hills unfurled before their eyes, the treeline – thick, the songbirds – silent, allowing them to savour what seemed to be their newfound refuge undisturbed.

As they disembarked to begin their journey through the wilderness, valleys, and meadows, their quest across the more vertical terrain led them to scale and conquer a mountain, a daunting task for the unfamiliar Aldersfolk. Yet, their persistence proved to be fruitful, as upon cresting the peak, Markus caught sight of a natural basin nestled within a clearing, ensconced by a thicket of shrubs and saplings. A chorus of polliwogs filled the air with their chirping and croaking, as if beckoning the Lord Markus towards the significance of the pond. Unfazed by the amphibian symphony, the Count gingerly cupped his palm, quenching his thirst from the waters, bowing humbly before the pool to offer gratitude for God’s boundless mercy upon him.

The band of Raevir assumed to claim that very mountain-top as their encampment, and thus they spent the next several days dedicated to crafting and assembling a total of two tents, meticulously fashioned from the hand-woven canvas by Oksana’s hands. One of these was dyed the crimson and ivory of their banners, intended for leisure and summons. The other tent bore hues of teal and gold, an homage to Bluecrest, Aldersberg’s most loyal.

At the towering heights of the summit, where the heavens kiss the earth, we proclaim this ground as Eagle's Peak; Aldersberg. Henceforth, it shall be known as the Adrian Seat of House Sarkozic, solidifying its revered status of authority and influence.

It is here that the County of Aldersberg invites all remnants of the Adrian Raevir to gather and swear their undying fealty to our banner. Let the people come forth, bound by honour and faith, as the Tapestry of Man intertwines with the promises and quests of a new era under the banner of House Sarkozic. As the Firebird casts its golden glow upon the sweeping vistas, let your footsteps burn the path to a future yet to be written.

The Count of Aldersberg sat on his knees in his tent, his head held low in reverence to an icon of Sigismund before him. He gripped a carved wooden Hussaryan Cross in trembling hands as he zealously repeated a prayer to the final exalted. He contemplated the history that led up to this moment, and the actions he would take to honor it. With fervor he gripped the sword of his ancestors Aventine and walked to Adria to continue his quest.

A Raevir Bannerman sits about a crudely made fire pit. In his callused hands he holds a layman's copy of the Holy Scrolls. In his mouth he chews a strand of hay. He peers up slowly, tilting his thatch hat upwards, as he hears the audible crunching of gravel to see a courier of House Sarkozic. The Bannerman raises his hand in greeting as he receives the missive. The courier nods once and leaves with no words exchanged, the crunching of gravel fades as he goes. The Bannerman sits the tome he was reading beforehand to the side as he opens the envelope marked with the wax seal of Sarkozic. He unfolds the parchment and reads the contents of the missive, bobbing his head.

"Da, the tapestry of man continues to weave."

Frederick Vladovic would gaze to his brother from their camp on Aevos, holding the missive with a sense of easement. There would be a notion of understanding between the two, before they began making their way towards Eagle's Peak and the County of Aldersberg.

"Da, there is work to be done, no?"

Iskandar Vladovic stands, giving a nod of understanding to his brother, but saying nothing as he begins the travel preparations.

The First Housecarl of Aldersberg, Renata von Bluecrest gazes upon a tent with a smile upon his face, seeing the colors of his house. He ponders towards the blue sky, looking at the golden sun's direction. He takes the pinned crest off of his shoulder and squeezes it tightly. It can only be assumed that Renata looks forward, to turn his future into a paradise for him and perhaps his future family.

Over the first few months of the era of Aevos, the folk of Aldersberg were busy at work amongst their fellow Adrians. Herding, hunting, farming and all sorts of industrial activity that honored the Anthosian legacy of the title’s founding. As a foothold has been established, the Count now calls his family, allies and sworn serfs to gather in a host at Camp Aldersberg to discuss the matters of Adrian-Raevir tradition and the activities of Aldersberg over the next few years.

The host shall gather in the streets of the capital on the 17th of Sigismund’s End, before sallying forth for a hunt and patrol. The game hunted shall be brought back to Camp Aldersberg to be prepared for a feast, where and when the moot shall be held. The evening shall be finished with Carrion Black at the ducal tavern, teaching about the history of Adria. Godani jest Wieczny.
