What are Vaska Papers?

The family of Petrov within the County of Vaska has decided to make a newspaper company to promote their endearing home. The family Petrov has seven members: the one endearing couple, three girls, and two boys. The head of the house being Pascal Petrov and the heir being Urszula Petrov.

All of these paintings are of the amazing city! The first painting depicts the gate which will lead into the city. The Host of Arpad will guard these gates with their fullest abilities. They are currently looking for members if anyone is interested! The group is led by Arpad Corvinus, who is the Ataman of the Host.

The second painting depicts the County of Vaska as a whole. From this outer look upon the city, one could see the multitude of buildings which consists of the hospital, educational institution, housing, shops, the castle for the reigning family, and Guild bases.

The third painting depicts the castle Castle Arpacz, seat of House Ivanovich, who are the reigning family household. All Duma meetings will be held here along with the Rada Vaskova council meetings. The Rada Vaskova consists of the Count, Countess, Ataman of the Duma, Ataman of the People, Ataman of the Host, the Comital Magistrate, and the Master of the Coin.

The fourth and fifth painting depicts the center of the city. All citizens will most likely come here to talk and trade with one another. There are also the local shops surrounding this area. This is the perfect palace to meet new friends and to relax in the sun!

While having the title of County of Vaska, the two and the residents sought to make the Free-City, Florentine, an enjoyable place for all. With more of a laissez faire approach from the leaders, all those who work alongside them always feel appreciated and valued for their time and effort.

The Host of St. Arpad

The Host was first established in a small chapel in their former lands of Cherskavy. They wished for a better life as they lived in their war camp, and eventually, their numbers grew with time. Never wavering from their roots, they wish to stay true to their culture and faith. To this day, the Host of St. Arpad of Vilacz remains the standing militant force of House Ivanovich and the defenders of the wayward raevir.

Their mission is to act as the personal bannermen and guard force for House Ivanovich, County of Vaska, and other Ivanovich holdings.

Their ranks start from Straznik, Cossack, Ataman, then to the commander Hetman.

Recipe of the Week:

Gibanica is a filo dough pie, most commonly filled with white cheese. It is savory, slightly salty, and overall an addicting pastry in all settings.

RECIPE:

The baker will need to begin the preparation of this dessert by combining all of the ingredients, except the olive, and mix it together. Next, they must coat the rectangular baking dish with high edges with a little olive oil. While that settles, the other mixtures need to be completely; such as mixing eggs, dairy, pepper, salt, and more olive oil. Eventually the baker will fold down the edges of the mold and pour the wet mixture over the dough. The gibanica will take roughly less than an hour to cook, awaiting for the perfect golden crust color.

Rozsika Korvacz perked up as she heard her eldest daughter's question. She gently plucked it from Xénia's hands to look over the recipe, saying, “Da! Moy can. Y wonder if Ramóna or Arisztid would help. Dobry read too.”
