It was in the year of 1929 of the 14th of Owyn’s Flame that a true and righteous matrimony took place between Hans Carolus Alstion through sacred vows with the esteemed Countess of Emalyne, Suzana Otta Sarkozic. In light of her sustaining illness, the wedding was private and brief, save Father Blackwald, taking place within The Cathedral of St. Emma of Woldzmir, as they pledged their  devotion to one another.

It was not merely a union of two souls, but a convergence of legacies and lineages, interweaving the tapestry of noble houses. In this momentous occasion, a secondary union blossomed, transcending the realm of matrimony—the union of names. It was decided that the two would take up a new name, for it was in homage to the radiant Lady Suzana, that the new name of Suzecht was chosen. The newly christened House Suzecht emerged, a splendid amalgamation of the cognatic House Alstion and the agnatic House Sarkozic.

Henceforth, the name Suzecht will serve as a beacon, heralding a lineage bound by devotion, honor, and the indomitable spirit of truth. Let it be known that the banner of House Suzecht shall bear witness to the grandeur of their heritage and the strength of their convictions. Through the union of Lady Suzana and Hans, the halls of The Cathedral of St. Emma of Woldzmir reverberated with the resounding promise of a prosperous and enduring future for House Suzecht. Let this proclamation be heard throughout the realms, heralding the birth of a lineage destined to etch its name upon the annals of history.

'By loyal hand, through affliction...'

The field of the House Suzecht arms is a fervent green outlined by red, akin to the clothing Suzana wore. The crow represents her Raevir lineage, that of Sarkozic, the pomegranates below such a representation of death: immedicable illness which plagues Suzana. A cross-pommel sword of the Lorraine stands resolute within the framework. This symbolic portrayal embodies Hans, once a personal knight in service to the countess, a loyal and unwavering guardian of her honor and aspirations.

The Countess of Aldersberg promptly extended an invitation to her newfound brother-in-law Hans for a celebratory occasion with their sudden nuptials:

"DEAREST BELOVED SISTER AND BROTHER-IN-LAW,

In celebration of this grand occasion, we cordially invite you to join us at our humble camp for a feast and an adventurous hunt with our bannermen in our Godaniwood. While our camp may lack some opulence, it holds a unique charm and warmth that will make you feel welcome. We promise to provide you with the finest hospitality and ensure that your time with us is nothing short of delightful.

With affectionate regards,

Oksana Sarkozic"

Olivier Dieuxmont, an eminent historian in the making, scrutinises the names, attempting - along with the spirits of all Alstion's past - to find the progeny of the similarly named but entirely unaffiliated 'Hans Carolus Alstion'. He could not.

Spoiler

Let me be clear, this is a total (almost definitely egregious) fabrication borne from nothing but an expectation of affiliation to a 'royal' family. None of the characters you claim this character descends from were played, indeed they ever existed. There is not one single iota of roleplay associated with your character. This isn't your family, you haven't invested a penny into its successes and you haven't been there for its failures - and let me tell you there have been many of those.

On several occasions I offered to help these new 'Alstions' move onto something with sufficient basis in roleplay (after being told that the primary motivator was 'always played a Horen, always will') and something that doesn't claim descent from a character that was played for little more than a month almost six years ago. Seriously?

It's not a reach to say that to be a member of the Alstion family is an indicator - or badge - of diligence, investment, quiet humility, and storms weathered. And it is not inegalitarian to suggest that you avoiding all these experiences but claiming the same is anything but cynical poor form.

I couldn't care less about any expectations of affiliation to a 'royal' family. This character was given to me by a friend, and the line belongs solely to my friend. Therefore, you have no right to dictate my RP on the forums. Similarly, I have no interest in interfering with your line, nor have I ever attempted to do so, despite what you may believe.

Alstion has been broadened so drastically, and my character's lineage is so far removed from the current Alstion player base. I have received approval from all the necessary players, and the complaints from you and others are irrelevant. No matter what you say or comment, you cannot take any action against me. I have every right to play this character, and I am addressing this matter at length to prevent any further conflict.

From a standpoint of principles, I have no intention of claiming your line, disrupting your roleplay, or attempting any sort of coup, which I've heard is a primary concern from you and others. I am simply engaging in roleplay with a character that was given to me months ago, and I will continue to do so. If you had privately messaged me about this issue, we could have resolved it, but instead, you chose to publicly comment on my post and edit the line on the family tree. I apologize if playing this character has upset you or compromised your feelings or integrity; that was never my intention.

If you have any issues, please address them with me through roleplay.
