The Klamor, though a recent tradition, has been a staple of Ork him governance. The Klamor serves as a Clan Moot of sorts, where the Clans of the Iron Horde are called together to an assembly. These assemblies may be called at any time by any denizen of the Horde. Any of those who hold Ashtkaars and thus accept the responsibilities are expected to be in attendance. Examples of the purpose would be challenging the seating Rex, or Roth-ob Gothim members, should they be found inadequate by another Ork . Klamor may also be called to announce a declaration from the seat of the Rex. Other claims may be brought forth to the Klamor; such as Clan’s request to the throne. For a claim to succeed, save others that require alternative arrangements, they must receive half the present Ashtkaar members' approval. Then, the challenge will proceed in accordance with the position's traditions.

Old Blah, for the Highest Word, the Taaraz Ghashan form the core leadership of the Horde. Or, as the name implies, the word that must be obeyed. It composes solely of two, the Rex, and their Dominus. They possess the mouth to speak on behalf of the Horde.

Consequently, these positions are, at times, amongst the most volatile and violent in the entire Horde. Reminders are often needed of their presence, with the Rex requiring constant klomps to keep their place. They will preside over Klamor, though any of the Horde’s own may call them to settle their claims. The Rex may not hold another position concurrently as the Rex-ob the Horde. Though the Dominus may remain a Wargoth, but may not take up another position of the Roth-ob Gothim. Foreigners may contact the Taaraz Ghashan to establish connections with the Horde.

The Ultimate Authority of the Goi, they who serve as the King of Ork him. The Rex remains the highest power in the Goi, both physically and willfully; considered the Apex of Ork him, the Rex fights to maintain a constant iron grip upon the Ork him as Krug, the Oldfather, did within the times of old. The Title of Rex originates from ancient times when Krug crowned himself the Rex-ob Ork -uk, or the King of All Orcs. This should not be confused with the Rex being Krug-Reborn, as comparing ones-self to Krug is sacrilegious. In times of old and contemporarily, the Rex is amongst the physically strongest or most clever Ork  of the Goi, less they are dethroned by another, following a philosophy that the strong must always be led by the strongest. As the ultimate authority of the Ork , the Rex may speak for all of the Ork s and, along with their Dominus, has the sole authority to make diplomatic decisions considering the Horde’s stance on wagh and alliances. This is to say, authority in any situation will always default back to the Rex, their word being the law of the land, and to ignore or go against it makes one liable to being punished for their ignorance. The Rex may also serve as a guide for Pathwalkers who seek Honourary Status in the Horde.

The Rex is a turbulent position, being handed down several times throughout the history of the Ork him. Many times has a Rex been dethroned after only several after some Cactus Weeks. Becoming Rex is an arduous process that one cannot simply walk in and do through sheer physical strength. A certain cunning is required. To have your claim acknowledged, one must gather the support of at least half of Clan Ashtkaars, as a Rex without the support of the Clans is a weak Rex. Likewise, being unable to negotiate or win support shows weak-mindedness. Once this is done, a Klamor will be called, bringing the challenge to the Rex. A Challenge must be loud and known. There is no honour in the way of shadows. A Rex may not discard a valid challenge and must actively defend their authority. Often, Rexes come from Wargoths of Clans who’ve drummed up support and made alliances, though Clanless Rexes such as Kor’garr the Clanless of San’Velku have reigned. A Challenger must be of the Ork him through birth or spiritual rebirth; this is to say, outsiders who have not proved their merit cannot be Rex.

The Challenge for Rex should be the Apex of Ork him values and traditions. With no exception, it shall be a Hur’Mauk, or if agreed upon mutually, a Mat’Mauk, a battle to submission or death, respectively. Though traditionally, it is to submission, as the death of an Ork  by another Ork  is frowned upon. In the cases of Rex of old age, Mat’Mauk serves as an honourable passing into Stargush’Stroh. The Victor of the Challenge shall serve as the Rex of the Horde. The Rex of the Horde holds Gakh [III] votes in any Klamor claim and may discard any claims they deem useless or detrimental to the Horde. Likewise, the Rex appoints the Roth-ob Gothim, should they fall vacant; otherwise, they oversee the various challenges to such.

Currently, the Rex is Kybal'Akaal.

The Dominus serves as the second-in-command of the Horde, acting as both Rex’s mouth and fist when needed As the Rex’s mouth when they cannot be present, the Dominus wields their authority as a substitute. If action is found to be detrimental by the Rex, the Rex may strike decisions made in their absence down immediately. Many future Rexes are born from those who have been Dominus. Often it allows for Ork s to gain wisdom, as being the second in command of the Iron Horde requires practice as a wise and tempered Orc in mind, body, and soul In times of harsher action, the Dominus serving as fist can intercede as judge of a code-breaker or announce a call to arms in the Rex's absence. The Dominus also serves as the diplomatic emissary of the Rex and may advise and negotiate on behalf of the Horde when needed, especially on time-sensitive matters. The title of Dominus comes from ancient times, originating from the Clan Dom. The Daughter of Krug, Dom, was the second wisest Shaman of the Ork him in all recorded history, second only to Krg.

The Dominus remains uniquely positioned in the Horde’s hierarchy in that another cannot challenge it unless’ they seek approval from the standing Rex of the Horde. To balance this, however, they serve purely at Rex’s pleasure, able to be appointed and dismissed at any time by the ruling Rex. Often many Rexes will appoint their own Dominus when ascending, while others may keep a previous holder of the position in power, depending on where Loyalties lie. The Dominus also serves as a potential guide for Pathwalkers who seek to be reborn as an Honourary. These duties mean they must possess great knowledge of Ork  history, honour, and strength. In times of great crisis, when the throne of the Rex remains vacant, the Dominus will serve as the temporary Rex of the Iron Horde until a new Rex ascends.

In Klamor, the Dominus shall hold Dub [II] Kounts upon their Ashtkaar and can vote such upon any topic in favour of the Rex or their Clan. When a Rex is absent, the Dominus will preside over a Klamor, hear the Goi's claims, and possess the authority to discard any invalid claim. Afterwards, the Rex may overrule such if they disagree, a reminder of the Rex’s ultimate power over the Goi.

Currently, the Dominus is Madoc'Lur.

The Roth-ob Gothim, in the common circle of Goths serves as the Hands of the Horde, influential Ork s who hold positions of power in the Goi and control various aspects of orcish life. Members of the Roth-ob Gothim may be Wargoths of Clans, though this is not always the case and is certainly dissuaded. To ensure that rampant abuse of power is not present, only one additional position in the Roth-ob Gothim may be held by a particular Wargoth at any time. The Challenge to take another’s position in the Roth-ob Gothim is unique to each role if the ability to do such is possible. A Member of the Roth-ob Gothim must be an Ork  or undergo spiritual rebirth to become an Ork . One may only serve as one member of the Roth-on Gothim at a time to not allow the Ashtkaar to stack in a single Ork ’s favour.

Proverbial, the Motsham shall function as the Voice of the Spirits amongst the Ork him. A Position of extreme reverence, the Motsham is a role atypical of most in Ork  society. Although it is profoundly spiritual and is not decided solely by way of the fist, a physical challenge could be an appropriate way to decide the Motsham. But, it is not the common Ork  who will decide the Motsham, nor the Taar-az Ghashan, but the Shamans of the Goi, the honoured wise men and women, will talk amongst themselves and choose the Voice and anoint their Prophet. The Motsham serves as the Spiritual Leader of the Ork him, a prerequisite to such a position being that the Ork  is trained in the way of the Shamans, the Ancestral ways of the Ork him. Taught and passed down throughout our race, born from the mightiest of all, Krug. While they ultimately serve at the Rex’s pleasure as an advisor and work in the name of the Goi, the Rex, Dominus, and other Gothim hold limited sway.

But, it should be noted that the Motsham may still be challenged by their fellow shamans based on a Shamanic Council called by the challenger where their claims are discussed by the Shamans of the Goi and given merit. Responsibilities of the Motsham are, regulating the Spiritual Affairs of the Goi, the construction and management of Shrines, spreading the word of the Spirits, and leading the Shamans of the Goi when they must be called together. They hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

Currently, the Motsham is Gormokh'Akaal

The Targoth is the militaristic leader of the Ork him- Leading the Krug-Hai at their pleasure. Though, at their core, the Ork him is a militaristic race, and every one of the Goi’s members is expected to raise arms in the name of Krug and their Brothers. The Targoth is responsible for leading those more-war-minded and allowing them to focus their strength and passion. The Targoth serves to lead them into battle, less’ the Rex must do so personally. Accordingly, if absent, the role of the Targoth shall go to the Rex until suitable challenger approaches and proves themself worthy of the challenge. Historically, the position of Targoth has been volatile, frequently changing hands, as the challenge to become the Targoth showcases key Ork s traits. Without exception, it is always a klomp, occasionally to the death, but always brutal. As the strong must always be led by the strong. Stagnation is not tolerated within the position of Targoth, as the strong must continuously hone their strength. While developing the strength of others.

The Klomp for Targoth remains a highly traditional practice, despite its simplistic nature of being a slugfest. Both a challenger failing and succeeding can show the tremendous success of the Targoth. It should be their ultimate destiny and goal of the Targoth to lose their position eventually with honour. As failing to another signals, they produced an Ork stronger than themselves. While winning, their challenge signals to the Goi that the Targoth remains powerful and thus worthy of their position. Responsibilities include the maintenance of the Krug-hai, leading the Warriors of the Goi into battle, and the regular maintenance of the goi’s “sharpness,” as a dull blade is useless, allowing opportunities for the Ork him to relieve their bloodlust. They hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

The Military-Leader of the Horde, the Targoth, has very little sway over the personal guard of the Rex, the Keshig.

This position is currently Grubnakh the Wizard

The unsung hero of the Goi, the Grubgoth remains in charge of feeding the Goi, developing its cuisine, and managing the Bhraf-Mauk. The Grubgoth is in a unique position within the Government of the Horde in that it has over its existence, many Ologs have filled the role. An unusuality, however, amongst the most famous of the Grubgoth was that of Grubgoth Wud, an Olog. Often, an Olog’s obsession with food becomes a tremendous boon in their ability to serve as Grubgoth. Likewise, in managing the Goi’s tavern, an Olog’s strength is terrific in breaking up unwanted bar-klomps. Any denizen of the Goi may be the Grubgoth, it is open to be challenged. Typically, the challenge of a Grubgoth involves a massive cook-out, where the cuisine and skills of the Grubgoth and the challenger are tested, as their meals are judged by various members of the Goi, including Gothim and the Rex. Likewise, the Grubgoth can acquire assistants to assist in their duties, though they do not possess Ashtkaars. The Grubgoth should not fool one, as they most know the goi's history and culture, perhaps serving as one of the first figures Newgrizh will interact with. They hold an Ashtkaar worth Azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

Currently, the Grubgoth is Toad'Yar.

The Yazgurtan remains unique, with dub (two) individuals occupying the positions. Commonly known as “Stewards” within the common tongue of the Descendants, the Yazgurtan assigns blargs (homes) to the Ork him. The Yazgurtan also serves as the architect of the Goi itself if they possess such talents. Though, in recent times, the Yazgurtan also served as managing and collecting the taxes of the Goi, the ability to set the taxes of the Gois remains with the Rex. They simply manage their collection and ensure it remains a smooth process. Due to the lack of a proper way to challenge a Yazgurtan, the Yazgurtans serve purely at the pleasure of the Rex and Goi. The Yazgurtan can acquire and maintain their own “assistants,” which serve at the Yazgurtan’s pleasure and fulfill various tasks. In short, the responsibilities are to manage the blargs of the Goi, construction, the taxation of the Goi, and the finances, acquiring of wealth for the Goi, via managing its foreign stalls. These responsibilities may be divided between the two, as one may focus more on accumulating wealth, and the other the blargs, or whatever setup they find works. They each hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

Currently, the Yazgurtans are Kretz'Ox 'Yar.

A Spiritual Successor to the Snagagoths of Old, though refreshed in the modern age of the Horde, where slavery is forbidden. The Krimpgoth relieves the burden of the Dominus and Rex in aiding those who wish to walk the path of the Honourary. They will administer trials and judge the worth of those who wish their souls to be that of an Ork . They will maintain and update the Trials to ensure they are relevant to the core qualities of the Ork him, Strength, Honour, and Reverence to the Ancestors and Spirits. Though, in times of wagh, the Krimpgoth shall also manage the prisoners of the Goi. The Krimpgoth is appointed directly by the Rex, but may be removed from their position via the way of Klamor via a majority Ashtkaar vote should they be incompetent or stagnant, and a new one may be appointed by either the Rex or another majority Ashtkaar vote. Though an indirect role, the Krimpgoth must remain knowledgeable of the Goi’s practice. Like the Grubgoth, they may be amongst the first individuals a newgrizh of Ork him blood meets. An additional duty is maintaining a grand list of Ork him that have be whitewashed from the Horde for their dishonourable acts. They hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

This position is currently Grimruk'Lur.

Again, another unique position atypical of the core Ork him archetypes, but valued nonetheless. The Skriptgoth is a scholarly Ork  who sits upon the Roth-ob Gothim and acts as a historian and the highest word on scholarly matters of the goi. Born from the loss of numerous decades of Ork him history from devastations which have plagued Ork him, it is the primary responsibility of the Skriptgoth to keep note of Ork him history and reclaim the race’ past. As well as record contemporary events such as Klamors and make note of the results of such. Along with the former responsibilities, the Skriptgoth also manages the library of the Horde, currently the library of Barbog, named for an esteemed scholar of the Horde. As well as managing the Ashtkaars and producing them. The Skriptgoth serves at the Rex’s pleasure and is typically appointed and dismissed accordingly, though. The Skriptgoth may take assistants as they please for whatever projects they desire to do. They hold an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount to use in Klamor.

Currently, the Skriptgoth is Vacant.

Wargoth, Swampgoth, Kukaal, are all many names for the same position. The Wargoths occupy a central position in the Horde, being the leaders of recognized Clans. These unified Wargoths for the Roth-ob Mazauk, or in common, the Circle of War. It is well known that a Rex reigns supreme only as long as the Clans still support them, thus they act as a counter-weight to the Rex’s power. However, all Clans are expected to serve the Horde, to keep the Ork him peoples unified as a single Horde. Clan Life is a crucial part of the goi's livelihood and health. Typically, the process of becoming a Wargoth depends on internal clan traditions. As all clans differ in culture, stretching from the Laklul-praising Ork s of Lak, to the merger clan of Akaal, borrowing from the traditions of three great clans of the past, to the scholarly and spirit-zealots of Yar. Typically, clans form from a great past ancestor, such as Lur, amongst the oldest of Clans in the goi, whose actions were worth immortalizing their name in Clan. Wargoths, thus Clans, form the majority of the Klamor, with the main point of the gathering being a meeting of Clans, and so appropriately, they make up the majority of the Ashtkaar kounts. Each Wargoth has an Ashtkaar worth azh [I] kount, which may be used in any vote, demonstrating their importance. Before a Wargoth is made official in the eyes of the Rex, therefore the Horde, they and Gakh [III] of their Clan’s Members and their to-be Wargoth before the Klamor, where they are voted upon.

An Ashtkaar is a slate, typically formed of bone or another material relevant to the position which it’s made for. An Ashtkaar must be present at Klamor for one’s vote to be valid; this goes for all positions, including the almighty Rex. Each position will have an Ashtkaar made for them by the standing Skriptgoth; in times of the past, it would be blessed by a Shaman and put through the  Aanghum Znarim-ob, and blessed through a series of chants by the Clan’s Patron Spirit. Clans may have multiple members on the Roth-ob Gothim, in addition to their Wargoth position on the Roth-ob Mazauk. Subordinates of their Clans do not necessarily vote in line with their Wargoth, though they are liable for defying their Wargoth. Though, if they fail to appear and their Wargoth does, their vote will be counted with their Wargoth’s. If neither shows or the position is not filled, all absentee votes shall be given to the Rex as the voice of the Ork him. Ashtkaar shall be recreated for each new Rex of the Horde to commemorate the rise of a new Rex.
