Aesopian 1125 Share Posted January 23 Spoiler Croalik was about to die. He was waist-deep in the bog's water, the wonk pulling back as fast as his legs could carry him. Stupid, stupid, he had only noticed the throqal, a great multi-limbed alligator, when it was a few meters away. Swirling scales disappeared into frothing water, and he knew it was about to attack. He had heard about it, that sudden and strange sensation of imminent oncoming death that would possess you in the moments before you ended, but that knowledge was so far from him it might as well have been still in his elder's mouth. There was only a ripping, agonizing panic. The water's roiling surface shattered apart, a great sprawling maw erupting upwards. There was only— A searing coldness gouged the wonk's heart. His pulse slowed to a crawl. I S E E T H A T Y O U A R E I N A P R E D I C A M E N T. The demon. I T H I N K W E C A N M A K E A N A R R A N G E M E N T. The demon. The demon that spoke into the souls of frogkin... the dreamsnake, the Iblees-nightmare, the Schlangenvertrag, the nebula-eater, that-which-coils-upon-itself. Many hissing tongues, twisted together like steel cords, spoke into his ears. All the while, barely an inch from his face, he could see the protracting jaws of the throqal about to crush his skull as easily as fingers pop a grape. It was still, unmoving. In fact, it seemed like everything was still: he didn't hear the buzz of mosquitos or splash of water. As he tried to retreat from danger, he found that he, too, was stilled. Muscles obstinate. Stuck, gazing into the jaws of death. Unable to blink. Unable to swallow. Was this magic? An illusion? He had no idea. I W I L L S A V E Y O U. The demon spoke. Jihnyny 2572 Share Posted January 23 krugkrugkrug human or orc nowhere (hes a nomad) or krug a 7x7 yurt that can be used for nomadic roleplay (iirc it goes 1 block deep) 375, 102, -501currently banned, so i cannot make better screenshots.
