TO ALL THOSE CONCERNED,

 

It has been thirty-eight years since my father was murdered alongside the young King Edmund of Aaun. As a twenty year old I was forced to step into the shoes of my father, thrown into responsibility all too soon. It is with great pleasure I can say, the House of Alstreim has upheld its familial oath of loyalty to the House of Alstion and all things required of those of nobility.

 

Let it then be known in this letter, that I, Johannes Lothar von Alstreim, in soundness of mind and body do hereby abdicate as Prince of Merryweather and the Rhine and all other associated titles in favor of my firstborn daughter and heir, Countess Johanna Aloisa von Alstreim. Who as the new Patriarch of the House of Alstreim and Prince of Merryweather shall be responsible for the maintenance of the Alstreim territories and other associated duties from henceforth.
