Nation Leading, For 3 Years?

On August 30th, 2021. I became the Vortice NL

That was 3 years ago as of yesterday, at least, in regards of posting this!

I joined LoTC on June 9th, 2018, and if you told me I’d be leading a place for three years. I don’t know if I would have believed you. I also don’t think I would have changed the outcome either.

Being the lead for one of the communities on this server has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.

So, if you’d be so inclined to. Do you have any questions for someone who’s spent about half their time on here as an NL?

It's been difficult many.. many times! More than I'd like to admit actually. It hasn't just been me leading. I've had help from @PrinceJose270from the very start and he's been amazing to bounce ideas or concerns from. So has @parasolsys

Taking breaks and focusing on other things also helps. As well as trying to look at the larger picture. A lot of people get so hung up on what is right in front of them it can be really hard to see what else is going on.

In all seriousness though, I knew for a while it was only a matter of when in regards to Vortice.
At the time, everyone we had on council thought I was the best fit to keep everything a float

I think a very long time, however, that doesn't mean I'm not looking for someone to take over should they like to

Take the advise from everyone in your community, this includes constructive criticism.

Try your best to have communication, without it, a lot of things fall apart.

Do your best to rp with those in your community and talk with them oocly. There might be a few hiccups here and there, however, no one can tell you that you didn't at least try to make that effort.

Have fun, if you aren't.. See what can be done so you can. It might be taking a break, trying something new, etc.

Lastly, remember that at the end of the day, the only one you can control is yourself.
You are the only you there is and make sure to take care of that.

I hate NLs that only last a month, I hated having to last a year, people who last longer than that are either blessed or cursed.

Unlike most nations, I have only good to say about Vortice, so you might be one of the very rare blessed ones.

No question from me here, we've talked about it before, just another 'good luck' and a 'say hello some time'.

In regards to Vortice, it's hard to pin down just one thing. I have a list. However, if I had to pick, it would be seeing it thrive regardless of if I'm around or not
