Brothers and Sisters of the Ember Alliance,

In this moment of great trial, when our hearts burn with the righteous fire of justice, I remind each of you of the sacred duty we bear—not only to Hefrumm, not only to Urguan, but to the Brathmordakin themselves. Yemekar the Allforger, who shaped us, and Anbella the Hearthmother, who kindles the flame of our spirits, have taught us that every dwarven soul is sacred. It is not for us to take a life lightly, nor to spill blood needlessly.

Though we stand in defiance of a failed king, we must never forget the value of life. The Brathmordakin would not look kindly upon those who shed the blood of their kin without cause. Our quarrel is with Ulfar, not with the innocent dwarves who toil and struggle as we do. The sacredness of a dwarven soul is woven into the very foundation of our existence. Let us not betray the gods by striking down our own unless there is no other choice.

I call upon you all, my fellow dwarves, to refrain from bloodshed unless forced by Ulfar’s hand. We do not seek violence. We seek justice, and justice will come not through slaughter, but through rightful action. If the King or his forces raise arms against us, defend yourselves, defend our people, but until that moment, let us stand strong in our resolve without breaking the bonds of dwarven brotherhood.

To Ulfar, I say this: Abdicate the throne, and spare our people the needless spilling of dwarven blood. You have failed as king—your dream-driven madness has led to the destruction of our temple, your neglect has emptied the halls of our ancestors, and your broken promises have dishonored Hefrumm. But you still have the chance to avoid a second Beard War between kin. Stand down now, for the sake of our people, for the sake of Urguan, and for the will of the Brathmordakin.

Let the flame of justice guide us, not the fire of rage. Let the King hear our call and step aside, so that peace may prevail and Urguan may be restored without the need for violence.

"Neither Ulfar or Alaric paid me my portion of that fancy Star-metal we recovered in the mineshaft. Feck'em both I say... unless one wants to finally pay up," a young Tosia Grandaxe remarks on the state of Dwed affairs.
