To the blessed Citizens of Haelun’or, its Silver Council, and Incumbent Sohaer,

It is with great tragedy that I find myself writing this document, but it has been far too long and something must be done. Our Sohaer, Ardryll an Naedwylm has been missing near half a decade now, with most of his council following his examples. Stagnation is the enemy of Purity, and our current Sohaer has led us once more to Stagnation.

Our treasury remains empty and bare, our council relying on generous donations from private citizens to keep our State afloat a year further. It is not without question how our great state has gotten to these points, we’ve the houses to be taxed, and the storefronts too; our State is large enough to host many vassals all of whom pay their fair share, and our fertile lands can harbor many farms for the bovine. Yet, all we see from our Sohaer are slothful replies and no action.

Our guards do not exist. For decades the slot of Okarir’sil has gone unfulfilled, our Sillumir non-existent leaving the Silver State vulnerable to crimes, raids and invasions. Similarly we’ve not done Diplomacy since we’ve forgiven the sins of the Starlanders near a decade ago.

And thus, I call the Silver State to an election.

To the Sohaer Ardryll an Naedwylm,

I, Theveus Sythaerin, present you the choice now to step down and resign your position as Sohaer; Upon doing so for 1 Elven week any who wish their chance at Sohaer may sign up accordingly, for one more Elven week we will allow any first class citizens to cast their vote.

Signed,

Theveus Sythaerin

Cresence Sythaerin stares at the missive her own husband had written, not hearing a word of it as it was drafted. The Okarir’maehr sighs at her messy desk covered in stacks of paper and half-hazard ink pots, finding she was going to make an even larger mess digging up the newest laws on Succession within the Blessed State.

From the depths of the Haelun'or Laboratories a crimson haired elf reads this missive over. Though, rather than toss it aside he set it unto a table - leaving it as a reminder for what was later to come.

Aries Caelheris sat within his families home, that stood within the lands of Haelun’or. Upon receiving the massive, his eyes shifted down the paper before a faint sigh slipped from his pale lips. Afterwards, the male placed the massive down on a stack of papers that laid on the corner of his desk, that rested within his empty study with nothing more then papers held together by leather to keep his mind accompanied. Soon enough the elf began to speak to himself in a faint whisper; “I truly do hope that whoever takes up the mantle, returns these lands back to their former glory. Not just elven lands covered by white walls and houses, that hold the wandering souls of fallen Mali'aheral, but instead a land that every Mali'aheral can call home. I hope that these lands can be lead by a competent individual who shall guide the people into a time of peace and prosperity.” Upon the conclusion of his mumbling, he stood from his seat and returned back to meet with his family.

The golden eyes of Veralya Wynasul scanned the missive from the comfort of her manor, her digits tracing the edge of the parchment as she furrowed her brow slightly. Yet, a few words escaped her, "How ironic... I do wonder what will come of this." The 'thill did not seem disgruntled, yet, curiosity filled her expression. "Haelun'or is a republic, after all... Yet I question what Ardryll thinks." The elfess then took the missive, going to place it upon her desk next to a few other papers.

Henry Arthur Haverlock, known in the Caelian culture as Manius Manlius Capitolinus, gazes upon the missive with thoughts of the past. As a boy growing up in the Republic of Caelia, he remembered the days of the Silver Empire, a nation which was full of life, trade, and bore strength comparable to the rest of descendant-kind. The Haelun'or of old, of Manius' youth, was one that had conquered the realm of Nevaehlen and defied the desires of neighboring states upon them.

Of course, the Haelun'or that Manius grew up within was long gone, and with it his respect for the nation that had cast out his people in exchange for "Total Purity". Yet, with the missive presented to him, a missive from so far south, Manius could not help but wonder if Haelun'or, if the long-gone Silver Empire, would begin anew.

A ker read the missive as she thought then said "Sillumir.... I used to be one there once and probably the last active one when all others vanished away, then I was forgotten as I was gone many years. Trying to fix and update the barn all on my own was too much for me alone. I still want my animals back that I couldn't get as they changed the locks."

A High-Elven woman gazed over the missive, allowing her blonde hair to frame her face as she read over it. Saelihn had stirred her tea rather slowly as she read. Locked away in her own home, as her husbands secret treasure; she mumbled to herself. "Perhaps this shall be of great benefit.." "Or, it could be of great danger for the silver state-- Though this is no busisness of mine." She began humming to herself as she finished her tea, flipping open a book to read.
