While the root cause of this continues to be investigated, it is important that players be made aware of a simple, best practice to follow when moving into limited creative. I present to you: THE MINECRAFT CHEST. A small, easily attainable item, that will be placeable wherever you have an lc region - or, preferably, outside of your lc region to avoid accidental damage. Even better - it is fully capable of storing the entirety of your inventory, and you can lock it, ensuring your hard-earned pixels will be waiting for you upon completion of your build. Currently, the ONLY sure-fire way to steer clear of the wrath of the item-cache gods is to store your inventory before entering limited creative. As you cannot access your inventory while in LC, this should not be a concern. Please do it. That is all. Sincerely, a tired triage monkey. IT IS BEST TO AVOID THIS ENTIRELY BY STORING YOUR INVENTORY. Also, it is good practice to always make copies of your mineman books. A large chest is the combination of two adjacent chests, and can store twice as many items.
