DEFENSE AND FRIENDSHIP

 

Issued on the 7th of Veronica’s Strength of and Sun’s Smile of the year of  141 D.R and 2015 I.T.

 

In the spirit of Concord and Mutual Prosperity, the Exilic Kingdom of Númendil and the Sovereign State of Hyspia, hereafter referred to as 'the signatories,' do solemnly pledge themselves to the following terms:

 

ARTICLE I: Recognition of Sovereignty

Each party acknowledges and affirms the other’s rightful rule over their respective domains, recognizing all associated titles and dignities as legitimate and inviolate.

 

ARTICLE II: Commitment to Peace

The signatories bind themselves to a strict agreement of non-aggression. No act of war, hostility, or armed conflict shall be initiated between them, nor shall their vassals or noble houses engage in belligerent action against one another. Any disputes arising shall be addressed through appropriate diplomatic measures.

 

ARTICLE III: Commerce and Trade

To foster economic growth and cooperation, the signatories agree to the unhindered exchange of goods. Merchants from both nations shall be granted safe passage and shall conduct their trade free from undue levies or interference.

 

ARTICLE IV: Cultural Cooperation

The signatories, in the spirit of amity and shared prosperity, shall endeavor to exchange knowledge, literature, and gifts, as well as collaborate in the organization of festivals and cultural gatherings. Regular correspondence between their respective courts shall be maintained to nurture the bonds of friendship.

 

ARTICLE V: Mutual Defense

Should either signatory come under attack from an external aggressor, the other shall be duty-bound to provide military or logistical aid in defense.

 

ARTICLE VI: Duration and Renewal

This pact shall remain in force for a span of twelve years. Upon its expiration, the terms herein shall be subject to renewal or renegotiation, as deemed necessary by both parties.
