It scarcely needs to be said that McCanon's robber-government is NOT RECOGNIZED by the Pontifical States. Under no circumstances are bandits permitted to waltz into our vassals and conquer them at cross-bow point. Rather, in light of his habitual disregard for life, dignity, and truth; and his remorseless commitment of his life of banditry, McCanon is declared EXCOMMUNICATED, cast outside the prayers and protection of the Church in an earnest hope that he will repent of his misdeeds and return both himself and the Republic of Salvo to our legitimate authority. She prayed then, for the swift blow that would end the bandit, for the health of her beloved nephew.
