Since the fall of the late Empire of Man and the birth of the Eighth Empire the line of de Joannes has been given the role as the first and truest heirs of Marna, and the responsibilities which come with it; given to us by the 1725 Treaty of Ves. But, since the death of the only de Joannes emperor; the name of Marna has been tarnished by bandits and kinslayers. Yet, I shall have this no longer; the name of Marna shall not only be remembered because of the Villainous Brigade who used its good name but as a force of good in cannondom once more.

As the heir to de Joannes line by the treaty between the Principality of Sedan and the church in 1997 and as the most direct heir of Marna, I hear by Proclaim the name of Marna and the Duchy of Marna once more; for my family and heirs.
