A white haired Ame in a black dress stood next to her husband. Her eyes covered by black silk, she looked down at the missive her husband handed to her, “You are nae wrong, Suika.” She said as she sat down next to her love as she helped him with his prosthetic hand.

Owyn Hector shaked his head in bitter disappointment at the bickering elves;

"Why we still include the Royarch in the signatories of the Horenic Covenant is beyond me. She rules over two hundred people and has made no notable contribution towards the war, and now her primary, once-devoted vassal openly rebels against them. The definition of a liability. . ." He groaned in annoyance, rubbing his face with his hands. "Can't wait for Sol'Helious to win against the thundering fifty Diraar protecting Celia'nor, and then switch sides. . . God, I hate politics."

An Okarir'tir of Haelun'or, casually talking to the citizens of ElCihi'thilln, today was a day of rest, he and his soldiers had harassed the Starlanders a bit too much lately, their message has been sent, and now they shall reap their rewards. Of course, that was all to be interrupted when word had finally made way that Helious had rebelled.

"Celia'nor loses in the field against our finest warriors. They do not sally out whenever we've a hostage of their own. They can not even defend themselves from losing their throne, and now? Now their vassals are in open rebellion." The Okarir'tir snickered, he would go and find the Sohaer, and some of his men. "Look at what we have caused."

The 'aheral turned to look at Theveus and replied, "It was not us, Okarir'tir... This was only a matter of time." He stepped aside and gazed towards the northern horizon, a faint smile tracing his lips. "I will never cease to admire you, prince of Helious... Good luck...."

"For such a long-lived people, it is surprising they have such short memories. People do not forget the betrayal of oaths and treaties. The seeds of betrayal they planted decades ago are now bearing fruit" An orc would rumble upon hearing of the crumbling traitor state in the north.

'Tomes', the old sage, glanced at the missive, his pipe hanging loosely from his lips, hanging about at the slighest movement. Wisps of smoke curled from the corners of his mouth as he leaned back on the back of his chair, resting his weary bones. His feet were propped on an old wooden stool, and his hat sat askew, threatening to slip from his head.

"Celian'or has long turned a blind eye to itself, preferring to indulge the highest, oblivious to its people. The high court indulges in pleasantries while the city starves, while its citizens are butchered like pigs. And now, we will see if it crumbles - besieged on two fronts, both economically and physically."

With a flick of his fingers, a small wisp of flame danced into existence. He touched it to the parchment, watching the missive curl and blacken before returning to his duties, unbothered.
