Issued by the Royal Treasury of the Kingdom of Burgundy,

Under the Great Seal of the King of Burgundy and His Chancellor
The 6th of Harren’s Folly, In the Year of Our Lord, MMXXVIII

Merchants, lords, and commoners alike are commanded to accept and trade in the Royal Coin, for the stability of the realm and the prosperity of Our people. Taxes rendered unto the Crown shall be paid in the currency of the Realm, or deemed unacceptable.

This proclamation shall be read in all town squares and posted upon the gates of every city, village, and port, that none may claim ignorance of the law.

Those leal subjects and wise men of coin wishing to seek protection from the extortionate rates of taxation levied against funds stored at the Cloud Temple, by the pagan monks, should seek refuge in this currency. Those who wish to store larger funds are instructed to contact the Lord Treasurer directly to inquire about Our Royal Vault, designed by locksmiths of renown.
