Gavin_ 2027 Share Posted May 15, 2025 ______________________________________________________________ Admonishment ______________________________________________________________ “And when at last the gales subside and bereft now, is our Haelun’or of all life - YOU will have made a crypt of my home.” Malaurir Braxus Ni’leya ______________________________________________________________ Once we followed in the footsteps of Larihei Lohmanih, our guiding light - the Shepherd of a noble silver flock. Now, we the pure tremble trepadatiously through tarnished streets, though they still gleam - for such is the guile and cunning nature of those who trespass against us. Today, I see gates flung open to those who once marched against us - if not with arms of war, then with hearts of malice wrought of impurity. I see those who sought our ruin, now seated at our tables. I see our proud and ancient traditions trounced, renounced and diluted - our once sacred principles scoffed at. Those in power tell us that this is progress and they are right. Progress of a certain kind. What has become of you, O Silver Council? Where is your zeal? Where is your remembrance of Larihei’s charge? You have clothed yourselves in robes of Silver, yet beneath them beat hearts of tar. You have turned your face away from the ways of yore and in doing so, you have brought shame and ruin upon our blessed people. Larihei did not walk into exile to make peace with folly. She did not forsake the old lands to share her gifts with the maddened. She walked apart, that we might be apart - exalted, unblemished, pure. ______________________________________________________________ What has become of you, O Maheral? You have ears to hear yet have not heard, eyes to see yet have not seen. Your burden is lofty and your rank heavy with honor but your hands are clean, not with righteousness and purity, but with lethargy. As Larihei’s blessed vision is lost, you remain idle. YOU are a shepherd who watches the wolves enter the fold yet you do not drive them out. YOU are a steward who buries the keys to the storehouse, starving your people with inaction. YOU have allowed the profane to profane, the ignorant to teach, the unclean to dwell among the clean. It would have been better that you never ascended the silver dais, than to wear the mantle of Larihei and bring shame unto her memory and blessed way. Woe unto you, the great deceivers and hypocrites of our time. May your days be long and your tribulations great. Do what is right and resign in disgrace Do not not defy the will of the Pure ______________________________________________________________ Signed, Elizar Thill’onn

Muckelpu 291 Share Posted May 15, 2025 Aeth skimmed over the missive before holding out for Mya to read. "Llir, do you know who they are?" - "Or you?" He turned to the mysterious mage with his feline companion. Spoiler @Pearlescent @Samler
Pearlescent 585 Share Posted May 15, 2025 Mya looked to aeth amused "Ramblings of a deranged man, nothing more" she paused for a moment fixing the position of her officers beret before looking back to aeth "He is nobody of importance llir"
_Sheylo_ 1177 Share Posted May 15, 2025 "This is Braxus Ni'leya reincarnated. Same writing style, same philosophies and everything.." An elf whom had dealt with the man single-handedly peers at the missive before walking on. Who is to say he even read the whole thing..?

He turned to the mysterious mage with his feline companion. The mysterious elf clad with a mask of ferrum looked over to Aeth. "Yes." He said initially, ominious in tone as the wolf-sized black furred companion raised it's head, ears perked upon the situation of the tavern room. "He claims to be directly related to Larihei, despite no historical evidence brings up biological children of her own." He said flatly. "Nor is he a citizen, I trust his words as much as I do the Izaliths. Not at all." The steward and Malaurir had spoken, the panther huffed in dissapointment at the lack of grandios reveals and rested it's head upon the wooden floor once more.
Daisy 9735 Share Posted May 15, 2025 The Maheral wonders where the elf who speaks so strongly against her and her council has been "Is this the one who showed up for one event six months ago? What ground does he have to speak on action?" she remarks to her Sohaer over tea.

What ground does he have to speak on action?" she remarks to her Sohaer over tea. There came no formal response from the illusive Sohaer. No rebuttals, no public denouncement. A few days later, however, a single gold coin was stuck to the very bottom of the missive. Whether it came from Valindra herself, one of her lackeys, or one of the citizens who denounced the missive was unknown... "The lion does not concern herself with the bleats of the sheep, malaurir." Valindra uttered to the Maheral before raising her cup to her lips for a soft sip, basking in the comforts and decadence of Avern's tower-top terrace. She seemed truly relaxed despite the trials and tribulations her nation had faced in recent weeks, as though it were all trivial in the grand scheme of her affairs. "Though yes, he is simply bitter that I would not return to the State's old silver platter protocol of handing out titles. Some people are just allergic to progress, I guess." Spoiler not very based removing my last response mods :((
MailC3p 2405 Share Posted May 15, 2025 “A Thill that quotes Braxus, A thill that speaks like Braxus, A thill that thinks like Braxus, and a Thill that writes like Braxus!” A Certain Okarir’tir chuckled at this revelation “We have the second coming of Braxus! It must be a miracle” His tone dripping with Sarcasm as he spoke. A sigh leaving his lips “And if he tries to coup like Braxus, he will get that too.”
