Ignoring RP. 4 weeks, appeal required.

 

What circumstances led to this ban?

 

The circumstances which led to me being banned from the LOTC server started with a raid upon the Capital of the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska/Haense. During that time, I was playing a Daelish character which at the time was for roleplay's sake. Upon the raid being switched to PVP, and everyone beginning to switch to their appropriate status I followed and did such while also putting my armor on and moving my gear to my hot bar. Once PVP started, myself and the others whom I did the raid with fled out of Haense where the fight still transpired in which I was downed and bounded, but before being bounded I did emote to kill my character before doing the /d20 command. After having a moment to myself, I read over and saw I was wrong and within seconds of this realization I was banned.

 

Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?

 

No, there isn’t anything when it comes to the ban that I disagree with. The ban was justice and my actions before said ban were wrong, so I faced the proper punishment for that.

 

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

 

What motivates me to return to LOTC? Well, before I begin to answer the question you ask of me, I would like to state this beforehand: it has been around a year since I have been away from the community, and within that time, I have reflected on my actions and taken more time to read over the rules more thoroughly so that I can avoid making any more mistakes that could affect others experiences within the server. Now, let me speak on the reasons I wish to return back to the lovely platform of “Lord of the Craft.” The first reason is I wish to return to the server to be able to continue hanging out and roleplaying with the people I would consider friends that I have made throughout my time on the server. I am aware I can still talk with them outside of the server, but despite that, I still wish to roleplay with them and get into the fun nonsense and other roleplay situations I used to involve myself in prior to the ban. I will acknowledge that the day of my ban did display that I am there for ill reasons, but if there is any sliver of a chance for my actions to be overlooked and give me a second chance to properly display that I am within the community for the right reasons, those reasons behind roleplay, I would greatly appreciate it.




I wish not to come back to the community to display fleeper-like behavior but instead to show that I am fit for the community and I can show exceptional roleplay that everyone around me can both benefit from and appreciate. From my time away, it has made me miss the community of LOTC more and more, and with that I have taken the time to develop my roleplay skills, with both the hopes of eventually being able to return to LOTC and also improving my roleplay abilities to benefit me so that I can enjoy my time within the MCRP scene more. But with all of that, I wish to come back not just for my own personal reasons, but instead I wish to return to the server to enhance others roleplay, but also build myself up in a positive community. I hope to build myself up in the community from the bottom, being known within the walls of the server for grand roleplay and not for pvper-like reasons, such as being able to pvp or spending time solely doing mechanic combat. I wish to move forward with my roleplay, befriending others within the server and also reconnecting with friends who play within server

I would like to lastly state I am not sitting here today, writing and submitting this said “ban appeal” to have my dumb choices prior to be entirely overlooked but instead have the time away and the time I have taken to write this appeal into account to hopefully place a brick into building a wall of trust with both the staff and community. I am not asking for any special treatment from staff, but instead I am merely asking for a chance to prove growth and great improvement from the time I have been banned. If this appeal isn’t enough, I would truly like some feedback on what else I can do to display change in character and build some form of trust with you all, who are reading my appeal.

Well, like I said above, this is my first ban, to my knowledge, so I would hope to be given some benefit of the doubt in this situation, but also the staff member whom banned me at the time was "aeusx"
