A MESSAGE FROM THE GRAND TRUSTEE
OF THE CELESTIAL TRUST

 

Twenty-Seven years ago I had the pleasure of announcing the election of GUMMY YOG to the presidency of the Northern Geographical Society. I had no qualms at the time or today about handing off the position to her, her tireless work had expanded our library many hundreds of volumes, and she continued this work during her administration until collections included OVER ONE THOUSAND unique volumes. Her incredible contribution to our society's legacy will never be forgotten.

 

However, as of the past few Saints Weeks she has unfortunately been missing, and with the impending exile from this continent, the Celestial Trust has made the difficult decision to hold SNAP ELECTIONS to select a new president to lead the NGS into a new era on the next continent.

 

Members of the CELESTIAL TRUST are invited to leave a signed ballot in the meeting hall of the NGS Flagship Museum with their preferred candidate. Please contact me with any questions or if you have difficulties casting your vote. Voting will close one Saints Week from the publication of this notice.

Finding the missive amidst a bit of wandering, would a certain set of skittered footsteps find the news & pause a moment to read. The gobliness' ears drooped in sadness to see the official posting finally arrive, yet a bit relieved as well in seeing the society not have to rely on her to continue functioning.

 

This was a wakeup call, a change in the winds & the spirits calling out to her as she continued onwards with the woman's journey ahead with that slayersteel grin.
