A new Royal Guard

Hail my fellow Elves.

I have decided today that our royals need more protection. We once had a royal guard, and they were mighty. But somehow, they fell. With them gone, our royals are at more danger, and with the undead on the loose, they have the risk of being attacked at any second. Therefor, I come with this proposal. We form a new royal guard, 2 for each royal, to keep watch over those who keep order among us. If they had a guard with them at all times, the chances of them being attacked would be slimmed by a great amount. I wish to form this guard, so that we may keep order among the Elves, and make sure our most important Elves are safe.

Please, Prince Native. I wish to create this force for your gain. If you give me permission, I shall create the strongest force the world of Aegis has ever seen. If this idea gets approved by the Princes of Malinor, I shall make sure all your guards will give themselves before surrendering you. If this is approved, then I shall create an Application form, so that only those who are worthy may join our ranks.

(( i would love to help, but i have to warn you. as you are not native it will be a pain in the ass to get people to look at it and apply with good skills and such. it is very depressing if it doesnt turn out as you want as alot of people will have commentary at you ( negative). you also need people who are online alor and who are in the same timezone as the prince/princess. but if you want any help just ask me, or need any info just ask me))

Sounds like a brilliant idea to me. I may not be a prince, but I support this and urge the elven royalty to do the same.

Aye, that is true, however I believe this was reffering to all the Princes, not just the High Prince.

I haven't been in Laurelin (or any elven city, for that matter) for a long time but the other Princes and Princesses still require protection, if not much has changed.

Why dont you just join the Wardens, the Wardens perform the same duties as the Royal Guard and are better skilled, better equipped and active.

I noticed one of ye wrote about the wardens doing the same job. I believe that ye are wrong. The Wardens are our military, the ones who strike in times of war. Excuse me if I am wrong, But I intended this Royal Guard to have one duty. To protect the Royals. Again, I thank ye all for this honour. Hopefully we can create a Royal Guard so strong, that no one will dare attack our Royals.

I personally would love to have a guard, its pretty bad when I've resorted to staying at home most of the time and never travelling like I used to. I support your idea.

I think this should just stay a job for the wardens. There are plenty on most of the time, all a prince has to do is ask.

i support the idea but myself being a warden some wardens are doing bad things we are in a time of darkness and i dont think this would help much at this time, some wardens are going corrupt.
