Can you split an image into 2 or more maps for bigger showcases?

Like a square image instead of 1 map, being split into 4 maps for an art display, or a wide screenshot 2 maps across

was looking into it - can definitely be added, I've just been a bit busy with all of the other plugins for next map!
will have another look when I get time - but definitely would be nice to have big stitched together maps for wider angles

It is particularly nice. I wonder if this plugin could be developed to allow for direct art to be made for people who can. I suppose one could always make art of blocks though it might look a little jazzy with the biome palate. This is a cool step forwards either way.

As someone alreay said, this will be great for wanted posters. And they will now be portable. You can just say "Have you seen this guy" and hand them the painting.

 Bit late to the party, but is there a way in which an existing painting made with this plug in can be copied to a blank canvus? I think it be a new interesting feature if you haven't considered it already.

This is active now in case you were unaware.

 

 

@Crunchiest_Leaf-- to that point, I noticed you can copy edited maps as well with lore and signing, but no way to tell which is original which is copy (like books i guess) not sure if this is something that could be implemented? Can't have people running around making direct 1:1 copies of my hard work :(
