Bon'Ox gasps.. then gasps again.. ACHOO!

The goblin rubs his reptile-like nose-holes on his face & shivers.
"Time to peep if this will be another Norland..."

“When Mother gave into surrender, that is when Haelun’or truly died. I’m sad to see the state which exclaimed to be Gods and higher beings… to be nothing but a state of HYPOCRITES!”

Vivien yelled from her home in Rittensburgh after reading these news.

A seventeen year old 'aheral checks her nails after reading the missive. "Can't wait to tell Delphin I told you so at the trial." She fixes her bonnet, ensuring her ears are hidden. "It's fun to know things."

A white-silvered-haired Mali’aheral, once bright with joy and mirth, wept. For he had prayed the tidings were naught but falsehoods. Rumors spun by the foes of the Silver State, crafted to sow panic and tarnish its muster. Yet truth, cruel and cold, unveiled itself before him. Still, he clung to hope - or perhaps to a gentle delusion. And with a half-smile caught between sorrow, he turned away. The sound of his footsteps fading softly into the distance.

Arthur read the summons and from his towers, gazed out at Haelunor. He shook his head. Another betrayal, another lair of evil. He started preparing to help the innocent out should it be destroyed.
"Too stupid to live." He murmured bitterly.

Spoiler

[!] Several missives of something so eccentric would be spread across the world, and especially around the silver city where the former xionists dwelled. Paper made from human faces and the skin of the innocent.

THE GREAT SMILEBONE EXTENDS HER GRAND SALUTE TO THE HONORABLE ADUNIANS FOR THEIR RIGHTEOUS DEED. YOU HAVE DONE WELL IN STRIKING DOWN THE SLUMBERING XIONISTS. THOUGH, I MUST SAY, THEY DOOOOOOOO TRULY LOVE BETRAYING ONE ANOTHER. IT WAS THROUGH ONE OF THEIR OWN THAT I LEARNED OF THEIR HIDING PLACES AND PRECIOUS SECRETS. PLEASE, OFFER A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR VOY, ADELINA, WHATEVER NAME SHE PARADES AROUND WITH NOW. A NECROMANCER SO BLINDED BY HER GREED FOR IMMORTALITY THAT SHE CLUNG TO MY WORDS OF “TRUST AND ESCORTED ME RIGHT INTO YOUR LITTLE LAIR! I DO APOLOGIZE THAT THINGS UNFOLDED THIS WAY, XIONISTS AND FORMER XIONISTS ALIKE, BUT YOU HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELVES FOR TRUSTING THAT NECROMANCER AND HER KIND TO ALLOW ME TO BREAK IN.

BETRAYERS LINGER EVERYWHERE. ONCE A BACKSTABBER, FOREVER A BACKSTABBER.

KAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAK!

BUT NO MATTER. SMILEBONE, OVERLORD OF ALL UNDEATH, IS AS MERCIFUL AS SHE IS CUNNING, MUCH LIKE THE ARCHDEMON SOLOMON, THE BLACK PONTIFF! XIONIST, HEAR THIS WELL: I WILL BE THE BOOGEYMAN BENEATH YOUR BED, THE OWL WATCHING FROM THE DARK, THE NIGHTMARE YOU CANNOT ESCAPE. YOU WILL REMEMBER ME AS A CANCER IN YOUR LUNGS. HOWEVER… SHOULD YOU SUBMIT YOURSELVES TO THE BLACK CHURCH AND STAND AS SOLDIERS AT MY SIDE, AID AND SUPPORT SHALL BE GRANTED TO YOU. I DON'T SEEK TO ENSLAVE BUT TO EMPOWER YOU.

IF NOT, REMEMBER THIS.

YOU ARE NOT SAFE, NOR ARE YOUR SECRETS.

AND YOU CANNOT HARM ME.

I WILL BREAK INTO YOUR LAIR AS I HAVE DONE THIS DAY!

A valah scholar looks at the missive with true bewilderment. He took a deep breath and placed the letter down, as tea was placed in front of him. A light hand reached upon his shoulder, as if to ease him or keep him sat down. His first instinct was to write letters to as many people as he could, but no longer was he bound by those chains.

He took his glasses off, looking up at the one he cared for most with a worrying gaze. "Let's make sure to attend the trial if possible." He said to the figure, steadying the tea to his lips as a deep sigh escaped his lips.

Eir Maor  looked up towards the parchment pinned upon the Empires board. Somethung stirred within her, it was nothing but PURE BLISS. "Ah.. finally, those cowards are seen for what they truly are, and they claimed celia'nor hid darkspawn whilst their own nation is covered in them? What hypocrites" she plans to attend this trial.

The Barrowlord eventually received one of the many missives, be they of Man, Undead, or Inferi. They handed the message to their squire, a well-built warrior who consumed the missive whole. The Barrowlord merely pondered, and began the implementation of a new plan. "That little rat has a point... But Smilebone has no bones... Not a true Smilebone then but a pretender... What could this gremlin offer our Sister then? Lies... They trade in naught but lies... It would appear that a singular raid does get a lot of traction though... A battle lost, but not the war. We shall never kneel to these beasts!

"The saying went "Oren delenda est", not "daemon delenda est". We had nothing to do with this. . ."

Spoke the Archprince of Dread, when the missive was brought to him by one of his little batlings.

"I should attend. . . It ought to be fun!"

Learza Reavenkind read the missive in shock and disbelief. She fell still for a moment.
One would swear she was holding her breath in that time, for how unmoving she remained.

"By the Flame..." Is all she murmured. This Mali'aheral had no known fondness for the city and their laws.
"Many will be relieved by this, whilst others will curse this day 'till the ends of their own."
"What of them?" She then asked herself, wondering what would happen to her friends whom reside within those very walls.
If time allows, Learza would make her way to the trial.

The Okarir'indor is awoken from his slumber by news of this missive, frowning. "Didn't even mention my own or Laerdya's cooperation from our arrival? Man, that's a bummer."

((On an OOC note, if you're going to call all officials to something this urgent, please ask what our schedules are. I was not thinking I'd need to spend 7 hours of vacation time to leave work early today.
