To the Druii not under our protection,

It is a fact that Descendants, too, are part of nature. Conflict—whether war or politics—is not an aberration but an expression of will. Every Man, Yosei, Oni, Goinijin, Dwarf, and Tengu exists within the balance you claim to steward. Yet they are neglected. Electing not to participate does not remove one from the broader forces at work; declining to look at the world as it is is not an act of principled detachment, but a refusal to engage with reality.

Many among you hold that Druids stand apart from the will of descendantkind because you answer to divinity. Yet all things are wrought from a higher power. Even in nature, it is the apex predators who shape the ecosystem. The boar may wish to avoid the tiger, but it still grows tusks and will fight when cornered. He does not have the luxury of pretending the tiger will not devour him.

Nature also teaches that nothing is truly owned or guaranteed. Tomorrow is never promised—it is something to be seized. War is simply the principle of survival expressed on a larger scale, no different than one colony of ants overwhelming another for territory or resources. What sets descendants apart is not exemption from this cycle, but the vanity to believe our motivations are uniquely noble. Even if that belief is misplaced in the eyes of another, it remains a belief that shapes action, and condemning it does little aside from assuaging the ego.

Your kami promises an eternal life within their forest in the world beyond. While you remain flesh and blood, you answer to mortality the same as any other. On what grounds, then, is immunity from scrutiny or consequence claimed? You are no more inherently exalted in purpose than a warrior of Machiman, a follower of The All-father, or a follower of the True Faith. Attunement to nature does not place judgment above that of other descendants. It places you within its system like the rest of us.

So heed the words of this acclaimed short-sighted human once more:

When stripped of all rationalization,  we are beasts, and from our perspective, you have become competitors in our ecosystem. Presently, through inaction to dissuade our concerns about those dissidents you harbor, you have forced our hand. Your own third aspect teaches that in a struggle, it is not who is right that determines the outcome, but who survives. These are the words of your Kami. Not mine. In spite of this fact, we have chosen to act through reason rather than through that harsher doctrine. You will be treated like a man, and not a beast. With terms to meet so that you shall not be devoured.

Kurai Kuni will end hostilities when our terms are met. The alternative is just part of the natural balance

侍ji 露,

A very old and obese rattlesnake eats one of the letters. His stance on this matter is unclear.

An ancient druid reads the letter, squinting. "I think someone messed up in this one's dedicancy by not explaining descendants as an invasive species that cause imbalances wherever they go - and that we, as druids, are meant to preserve the balance." he then shook his head, going to put the piece of parchment in a mound of mulch to decompose and return to nature. "Weren't these people also the same ones using unattunement as a political threat, and also threatening other druids with war? Not even during the days of the druid nation did such occur."

Ena crumples the missive and throws it in the fire.

"Shut the **** up Jiro, I need more explosives for the pink witch!" He fastens a vest onto his body.@Tentoa

Spuds didn’t even read the missive. He felt a great imbalance. Without even reading he threw the missive into a fireplace of a home not his own. And grumbled to no one about pointless nonsense as he then left out of the window he unlocked and broke in from

Ehiba would be eating some sushi in front of a fireplace in her home. Peacefully, where no explosive could reach her. No matter, although she did disagree upon the arrival of the missive by a messanger, and the material within, she still thought Jiro had brought up an interesting topic.

"I wish I could exchange words with you about this, Jiro-san. Without threats or war. I would have enjoyed it as some points you bring up are quite interesting." She sighed; perhaps one day this would be over, and they'll understand that she was no enemy. In the meanwhile, she pinned the missive on a wall in respect. A reminder that perhaps one day, she might be able to have a discussion with him. For now, she shall remain away in her rest.
